"I'll give you sometime to read this diary. I am going to meet Noor's Father. He knows your Father's lawyer. I am sure he would help us", said Aditya and Zoya nodded. Aditya smiled and then left while Zoya started reading the diary.
She read everything. She came to know that her Parents were college sweethearts who fell in love and got married. She smiled emotionally when she realised that her Father wrote in his diary everyday after she was born.
By the time she had completed, she was in tears. She wiped her tears and smiled. She hugged the diary to her chest and sniffled. She laid down on the bed and closed her eyes.
She didn't know when she fell asleep. She felt someone covering her with the duvet and softly caressing her hair. She wanted to open her eyes and see the person but didn't because her eyes were drooping.
Aditya smiled when he saw her snuggling more into the blankets. He caressed her hair for one more time and went to the kitchen to make dinner for her. Enough of the healthy food, he would give her favourite food on her Birthday.
He opened YouTube and searched the recipe to make Noodles. He boiled the noodles and chopped the vegetables. Within some time, Zoya came to the kitchen while yawning and sat on the kitchen stool.
"It seems like someone had a good sleep", commented Aditya. Zoya stretched her arms and smiled, feeling fresh. "Am I getting Noodles for dinner?" asked Zoya.
"Nah! It's for me and my Duck. You would have to eat the porridge", said Aditya. Zoya frowned and asked, "Do you really feed that stupid Duck?" "Oye! Don't you dare call it stupid! You are stupid!" said Aditya.
"Calm down", said Zoya and Aditya scoffed. Here, he was making Noodles for her and she called his Duck stupid? How can she!! He started chopping furiously and Zoya bit her lower lip to control her chuckle.
"Okay, I am sorry. Can I get something to eat? I a hungry?" said Zoya. Aditya simply passed her a few chocolate cookies and she grinned, eating it. When she saw that he still had a frown on his face, she took a cookie before his mouth.
He looked at her who had a puppy face but he didn't want to be affected by it. He turned his face away but she didn't budge and put the cookie in his mouth. He made a face but then ate it.
She smiled and started eating cookies, and some putting in his mouth as well. After the Noodles were ready to serve, Aditya served it in one plate and took two forks.
Giving one to Zoya, he took the other himself and started eating by sitting on the kitchen platform. Zoya shook her head but nevertheless, she too started eating from the same plate.
After they completed the dinner, Aditya got a tub of choco chip ice cream and fed Zoya the first spoon. She ate it while watching her favourite movie playing on the television screen.
