Zoya was done cleaning the house and it looked quite better than before. Aditya came out wearing his "clothes" and looked at Zoya who was now done keeping the lamp straight.
Aditya spoke with his voice laced with disbelief, "Is it my house?"
"Doesn't this look clean?" asked Zoya.
"Damn! This looks so... tidy", said Aditya.
When he didn't find any word, he ended up saying the word tidy. Zoya smiled as a reply. They both didn't want to talk about the awkward moment that just went by.
"What did you do with those sheets?" asked Aditya.
"Right now, I have kept them in a place where it is not visible. You will have to give it in the laundry, as you don't know how to wash clothes", replied Zoya.
Aditya rolled his eyes after listening to her sarcasm and asked, "Do you expect me to wash clothes and clean house? I have never done that."
"In London, was your room like this?" asked Zoya.
"No, when I used to go out of the house, Mom used to tell the servants to clean my room. They used to do everything, right from the laundry, to sweeping and mopping", replied Aditya.
"Such a spoilt brat you are!" exclaimed Zoya.
"Arre! Jab bhagwaan ne hi itna achha advantage diya hain, toh phir uska faayda kyon na uthau main? Sabke naseeb mein nahi hota hain yeh!" said Aditya.
Zoya looked at him when he spoke the last line and smiled sadly. But Aditya had no idea what he spoke.
"True! Everyone doesn't have this privilege", said Zoya.
Aditya looked at her and when he noticed tears in her eyes, then he realised how much his words had hurt her. Before the tears could start flowing, Zoya closed her eyes and took a deep breath. After a few seconds, she opened her eyes and looked at Aditya with a normal smile. If anyone looked at her right now, then they wouldn't even know that how much hardships this girl went through.
"I am sorry. I can't control my mouth, I am so sorry. You know that I would never hurt you, right?" said Aditya.
"Calm down, Aditya. It's fine. I know you will never hurt me. Things like this happen. Do you want to have breakfast? I brought it for you. I have made paratha. I think you will like it. Tell me where are the plates, I'll get it for you", said Zoya.
She continued speaking trying to hide her emotions, but Aditya understood her and held her arms trying to control her. On feeling his touch, she looked at him and automatically, a few tears again envelope her eyes.
"I am sorry, Zoya. I swear it wasn't intentional. Please don't feel bad. You can slap me, kick me or you can even take my favourite toy. But please, don't cry", requested Aditya.
