Unexpected Feelings ✓

If Only

Aditya and Zoya were having their breakfast. Much to Zoya's shock, Aditya had already called Mr. Mathur and instigated him against his own daughter. Zoya didn't like this but he didn't listen to her. For a change, Zoya thought that he would believe his daughter but what Aditya said was true. He had said that "Money always makes people blind enough not to see who are their well-wishers and who are not."

"Aditya, are you sure you want to go ahead with this plan? That man is a criminal. He won't take a second to finish everyone if he comes to know the truth", Zoya said.

Aditya sighed and looked at her. He held her hand and said, "Zoya, we have to do this. If we can get into his confidence then he might confess everything."

"Why?" Zoya asked.

"What why? We need his confession to send him behind the bars. You know how cunning that man is! He won't take a second...."

Before he could complete, Zoya asked, "Why are you doing this? Why are you helping me? What will you get in this?"

This had got Aditya completely speechless. He wasn't able to understand why was she saying like this. He might have started loving her lately but weren't they friends since the very first day they met? Was she indirectly trying to tell him that their relationship was nothing? But what about her actions the previous day? What was she trying to convey? 

Zoya got up and went to the kitchen. She has already given him a lot of hints. Even when she asked him the question, she expected that he would say that he loves her. But no! The Idiot Hooda never does anything that people want. She sighed and washed the dishes. She remembered the first time they went for shopping groceries in the mall and then he embarrassed himself. She shook her head with a chuckle and then let out a sigh as all their moments replayed. The first time she saw him in a towel, the time when they got drenched in the shower, the time when she had beaten him to an extent that he had started bleeding, the times when he consoled her, the time when he took her to Mussoorie, the first birthday in her life that was special was spent with him, and the time when she had come to know about the true colours of Yash and she just wanted Aditya by her side.

She let out a sigh and thought, 'I am overthinking. Afterall, why would he fall in love with me? I haven't done anything for him. In fact, he is the one who has been taking care of me like a baby. But I had not expected to fall for him. Does he really feel nothing for me? He just thinks of me as his friend? If only he had fallen in love with me, I would have been so happy.'

Aditya was playing with the food in his plate. He was not feeling like to eat the omelette that Zoya had made for breakfast. Why was she suddenly talking like this?

'Did she really consider me her friend all this while? I have been madly in love with her. Will she go away from me after this fiasco is over? Won't I be able to stop her? Will I have to live without her? Damn you Zoya! Why have I become so habituated to you within such a short span of time? I don't like to eat food if it's made by anyone else than you. I hadn't even imagined that I'll fall in love so soon. Should I confess or let you decide what you want? Even if I confess, then will you accept me? I know you have insecurities related to your past. But will you even allow me to see through your life? Zoya, why have you made me like this? I was such a happy go lucky guy. But now, all I think is about your well-being. And you didn't even think once before telling me that we are no one to each other! Fine! If this is what you want then I would go back immediately after getting justice for your Parents. If only you would have fallen in love with me, life would have been so beautiful.'
