Aditya kept looking at Zoya in absolute shock while she was looking at him angrily.
"Did you just..."
Before Aditya could complete his sentence, they all heard a siren. It belonged to the police van. Zoya sighed in relief and Aditya was still trying to overcome the shock while the other three were gobsmacked. They didn't know that the Police was involved in this. Seeing Aditya and Zoya in their own world, Mr. Mathur grabbed the opportunity and pulled Zoya, keeping a knife at her neck. Zoya screamed in shock and Aditya looked at them.
He grunted in irritation and said, "See, this is the third time you have held her as hostage. Either make a proper plan or leave her. Why are you interrupting us every single time?"
Zoya looked at him in disbelief. She was in danger and he was teaching this man to make proper plans to kill her?
'So much for loving him', her mind mocked her.
Her heart simply sulked in response. The policemen entered the House along with Arjun and Noor.
"Don't even dare to come near me, or else I'll kill her", Mr. Mathur warned everyone.
Zoya was now tired of kicking everyone. She stood there calmly, knowing that now the police was here she would be saved. A part of her was also expecting Aditya to save her but she frowned when she saw him looking at the Inspector. Why was he like this?
"Leave her, or else we won't hesitate to use our gun", the Inspector said.
Mr. Mathur tightened his grip on Zoya's arm and moved the knife closer to her neck, such that there was only an inch distance between the edge of the knife and her neck. Zoya gasped when she felt her blood trailing down her neck. The knife had cut her skin a little and it stung a bit.
The inspector fired a bullet and it just touched his shoulder. He growled in pain and left Zoya because of it. Grabbing this opportunity, Aditya immediately pulled Zoya to him. He wrapped his arm around her body and patted her head, an attempt to calm her down. But he didn't know that a volcano was going to burst as soon as they would be alone.
The police first handcuffed Mr. Mathur and then played the video sent by Mr. Sayed. His face went pale when he heard his own voice, saying, "I was the one who planned everything and killed Waseem and Roshnaq. I wanted to snatch his everything so I planned the accident." The police took him away in the van along with Yash and Pooja.
"Bhai, I am taking Noor and Abbu with me. Abbu is feeling a bit unwell", Arjun informed Aditya.
Aditya looked at him and nodded. The three left and Aditya looked at Zoya who was throwing daggers at him through her eyes. He thought that she was looking at him intensely and smiled. He moved his fingers to caress her wound but she yanked it away making him wince in pain.
