Charlotte Martin had already spent three of her schooling years at Beauxbâtons Academy of Magic, when her parents decided to move to London, thus transferring her to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft.
She understood them. Her dad had seized an opportunity to work for the Ministry of Magic of his country of origin, and her mother had then sought to coach a new Quidditch team, British instead of French. So, she wasn't mad at them, but still nervous about some changes it was bringing to her own life.
Even though she still be in a School of Magic, and was already fluent in English, she couldn't help but feeling like she would have to adapt to a whole new world. Transfers were quite rare, how was she going to make friends when the students there had been sharing each other's daily life for several years ?
To add up, there would be boys ! Good thing or bad ? It was certainly a big change, aligning quite timely with the girl's puberty. Promising mix ahead !
Author's note : Here we go, I'm officially sharing my first story. I'm liking it enough to take this step, I hope some people will read and enjoy it as well. This was just a quick main character's background story/context.
