Jayda's POV

After me and Dess made things official on live, things were great for about a month. We would spend all day together enjoying each other's presence. But these last couple weeks somethings changed she's always leaving the room when someone calls and making excuses on why we can't hangout. She even started sleeping with her phone under her pillow.

I don't think she would cheat on me but all the signs are there. Ari says I'm probably just overthinking and that if she hasn't given me a reason not to trust her, then I should. So I'm just gonna wait it out and hope for the best.

I heard a knock on my door. I wasn't expecting anyone so I looked through the peephole before opening it. "Dess, what are you doing here?"" I said opening the door. "Damn, I can't come see you," she said walking in looking kinda hurt. I closed the door before hugging her.

"No it's not that. I just wasn't expecting you," I said putting my face in her neck. "You excited for your birthday tomorrow," she asked pulling away and walking up to my room. I followed behind, "yeah I guess, I'm just kinda sad I didn't have time to plan anything," I told her as we both got in bed.

"I know, that's why I planned us something simple to do," she said surprising me. "What?" I asked in excitement. "Just a simple birthday dinner, I have everything taken care of so just go to sleep," she said cuddling into me.

Jayda's Birthday:

I woke up seeing dess wasn't in bed with me. I started to get out of bed until I heard her walking towards the door. So I laid back down closing my eyes. "Girl I know your not sleep," she said laughing at me. I open my eyes seeing her standing at the door holding a plate with a breakfast sandwich on it.

"Happy Birthday," she said kissing my lips and setting the sandwich in my lap. "Awww thank you," I said taking a bite of the sandwich. "No problem but Tae and Jenny are downstairs to do your hair, nails, and make up," she said getting off the bed and grabbing her purse. "You're leaving?" I asked her still eating my sandwich.

"I gotta get some stuff ready for tonight, imma come pick you up at 7 cause I made reservations at 8. Oh and your outfits in the closet," she said walking out the door. After I finished my sandwich, i went to the bathroom to take a shower.

"Hey y'all," I said walking in the kitchen. Jenny had her nail and makeup stuff set up on my dining room table and Tae had all his hair stuff on my kitchen counter. "Happy Birthday," they both said making me smile. "Thank you, so what are we doing first?" I asked.

"Pick a wig," he said holding up two wigs, a long straight black one and a loose wave black one. "The straight black with crimps," i said. "Okay Jenny can start on your nails while I bleach the knots and pluck the hair line," he said taking out the stuff he needed.

After I was done Jenny and Tae left and i went to go put on the outfit in my closet. It was this really cute Jordan set, I'm guessing since I was turning 23 this year. I put on the outfit and shoes, then looked at the time. I seen it was 7:23, I was about to call dess when the door bell rung.

I open the door seeing her dressed in another set similar to mine but a different color. She looked me up and down before walking in and shutting the door behind her. "You look good," she said pulling me into her by my waist and placing kisses up and down my neck. I could tell where this was going so I said, "you said we had reservations at 8 we have to go," she just nodded pulling me out of the house.

On the way there neither of us really talked, we just listen to music. We pulled up to a club like building, I was kinda surprised because I was expecting a restaurant but I didn't say anything. As we walked through the door, "surprise"
