2 years Later Destiny's POV:
"What's up, y'all! It's your host Dess Dior and you're listening to Dess talks. As you know February is the month of love so every episode in February will be about love and relationships. With that being said, today we have the most requested guest. Ms. Dream Doll," I spoke into the mike with a smile.
"Wassup y'all," Dream said smiling softly. "As many of you may know, me and Dream dated for about a year and half. We broke up almost a year ago now and everyday people are asking why. So I thought what better time to tell y'all then here or now," I spoke with a little laugh.
"So dreamy, let the people know why did we break up?" She took a sip from her cup before continuing, "Contrary to popular belief, no one cheated. I feel like everytime someone breaks up the answer is always cheating, but no actually. We just were better as friends."
"And I know that sounds cliche to say but it's true. When me and Dream first met. We spent 3 months seeing eachother for every second of everyday. And I can't lie we instantly connected, so naturally we took that connection as a sign to be together. But honestly Dream is like my best friend. And Indy don't even text me when you see this, you know your my sister for life," I said laughing into the mike.
Dream laughed with me already knowing how defensive Indigo gets about that bestfriend word, "Yeah and once the initial honeymoon stage wore off, we were literally like bestfriend who lived together. So, even though we loved each other to death, like I would do anything for this girl. We realized that we're not eachothers soul mates and that's okay," she said with a content smile.
We continued to talk about our relationship, as well as love in general. Honestly, we had this conversation many times before just not on camera. The long talks we used to have about life are honestly why I chose to start my podcast. Dream always told me that I was so wise for my age, but I really just wanted to give people a more relaxed space than a therapist office to learn and talk about mental health.
"So, what's your current relationship status?" I asked as we got closer to closing out the interview. "Well actually, I'm trying something new. I'm actually in a poly relationship," Dream spoke into the mike looking shy.
"Wow, and how's that going?" I spoke trying to sound suprised even though I already knew. "It's actually good, it's not really something I ever saw myself doing, but I honestly like it. They both make me very happy," she said smiling big.
"Well, that brings us to the end of todays-" I spoke before Dream cut me off. "Unt unt, your turn. Are you in a relationship?" She said smirking at me. "I'm single as of now, but I'm definitely ready to start dating again. I'm getting old, I'm tryna be a wife," I said laughing.
