Jayda's POV:
"Surprise"
I looked around seeing all my friends and family. The party looked amazing. It was Jordan themed which made our outfits make so much more sense. I looked around the party, there was literally everything there. A basketball game, someone airbrushing tee shirts, even a electronic bull.
I turned to Dess, "you did all this?" I asked feeling myself start to tear up. This was the nicest thing anyone had ever done for me. My last relationship was me constantly giving and never getting anything, but cheated on.
"Yeah, you like it?" dess said smiling at me. "Yes this is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me, thank you" I said pulling her in a tight hug. I heard everyone say "awww" making me remember that they were all there. I just smiled hiding my face in her neck.
The party was so fun. I walked around doing all the activities and saying hi to everyone. I finally seen my mom in the corner playing candy crush on her phone. "Hi mommy," I said going up to hug her. I missed her even though I seen her about a week ago. "Hi Jayda," she said smiling at me. Dess walked over to us and my mom kissed her on the cheek, taking me by surprise.
"When did y'all meet?" I asked confused. "Ari gave me her number so I could invite her to your party. Then she invited me to brunch," dess said smirking at me a little. I told her how my mom hates everyone I date, so don't be offended if she doesn't like her when they meet. I guess she proved me wrong.
"So y'all been having brunch without me?" I asked playfully crossing my arms. "And have" my mom said rolling her neck at me. "Period," dess co-signed doing the hand motion. I just shook my head cause not them ganging up on me.
We spent the rest of the party just having fun. Rapping, twerking, playing basketball, taking pictures, drinking, just having fun. "Okay it's time to sing happy birthday," Dess said through the mic. Everyone gathered around the cake.
"Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday Dear Jayda. Happy Birthday to you" everyone sung very off key. I just smiled before blowing out my candles. I was about to cut the cake when Jayda started talking through the mic.
"Before we cut the cake, I have one last surprise for you," Dess said smiling at me. I just gave her a questioning look. Ari walked behind me putting a blind fold on me. As we walked out I could hear people saying different stuff.
"Oh my fucking gosh," someone gasped.
"Yo Dess did that" someone else said.
They were making me more and more anxious about what the surprise was. Dess wrapped her arms around my waist from behind, making me jump a little bit. "You ready for your surprise," she whispered in my ear. I nodded my head yes, making her take my blind fold off.
I opened my eyes to see a pink custom jeep. In front of me. "Oh my gosh Dess. You didn't" I said. "I did" she told me with a smile. I immediately burst into tears making Dess come up and hug me.
After I finally stopped crying. I was ready to go cause my feet hurt. I unfortunately couldn't drive my car cause I was a little tipsy. We stayed at the party a little while longer before we left.
I thought we were going to my house but I noticed we were going to hers when she missed my exit. As soon as she closed the door, I pulled her into a kiss. She wrapped her arms around me walking us towards her bedroom....

This chapter was kinda trash because I rushed it but I wanted to get her Bday over with so I could move on to the drama😏
Okay so I need a favor. I'm currently writing 4 books including this one. I'm not gonna be able to do all of them at one time so help choose which of the other three y'all want me to focus on. I'm gonna be focusing on this one and one other.
1. A story about a successful business owner (fem) and her girlfriend a singer (stem). The story is going to follow them as they try to balance their relationship and demanding careers. Will kaash be built for the sudden fame she gains after her song goes viral or will it change her? Kaash Paige x I don't know the other girl yet, I've been thinking diamond flawless (not playing herself) but idk.
2. Imani has had a crush on Zayla since she came to her school. Zayla was quite and antisocial. Harmless right? As Imani gets to know Zayla more she discovers that she may be a lot more harmful than she seems. Fem x Fem
3. I haven't figured out all the logistics of this one yet but basically a girl joins a couples relationship. This one would be 2 girls and a guy or 3 girls but I don't know yet.
