The beginning of falling apart

The students' heavy breathing could be heard as they finally reached the cabin.

"What the hell? Is this training" Mai panted out. Mai leaned against a nearby tree while Miwa placed her hands on her knees and bent over trying to catch her breath. The rest of the students seemed to fare better aside from Todo and Itadori who seemed to have not been fazed by the climb to the cabin at all. Itadori's cheerful nature from this afternoon hadn't faded as clearly portrayed by his smiling face.

Megumi didn't respond; he was too busy trying to keep control of his sickness. The awful dizziness had returned, while it wasn't as intense as it had been this morning it still didn't feel like it was normal. Meanwhile Itadori was grinning as if they hadn't climbed half a mountain on their off day. Megumi was constantly amazed by Itadori's resilience. Miwa just simply stared at the pink haired boy wondering how he wasn't as tired as the rest of them. While the hike up had been tiring they were used to worse so it only took the students a minute or so to recover and take off their shoes to get inside the cabin. Megumi stood behind Mai as she opened the door.

"I hope you enjoyed the beautiful hike." Gojo said as the rest of the students opened the big wooden door and headed in.

The second years had already come in, interrupting Gojo and Utahime and their... flirting? Utahime didn't know what that was, she never did when it came to him.

"Hike, you call that a hike, I am 100% sure that you just floated here." Mai said, panting for air like it she hadn't gotten it in years. Under her breath she muttered "And carried Utahime on the way."

"Haha, jokes on you, I teleported." And he turned around and smirked.

***What really happened***

"Utahime darling," Gojo said as he was combing through his silky white hair. Utahime one hundred percent thought that he woke up every morning and had a hair routine, a long ass one which required a shit ton of products.

"You know, being the considerate gentleman I am, I can lend you a hand because I know that for a fact you won't be able to climb that mountain on your own, and as much I would love to see you sweaty and begging me to help you, I'll save you the trouble."

Utahime calmly turned around with a deadly smile on her face, "Say that again... I..dare..you..."

"Of course, I mean, hearing it once wasn't enough for you?" He said with that same cocky grin that made Utahime's stomach do roller coasters in the worst ways possible.

She took the nearest thing in her reach and chucked it at him with all her strength. "WHAM"

Glass shattered around his infinity, the after affect causing a fountain of glass to come raining down.

Utahime's thoughts strayed into something completely drifting into something irrelevant, did Gojo ever wake up and turn on the shower and forgot to turn off his infinity, and water just sprays everywhere, ruining his day.

Utahime shook her head, cheeks turning red.

As if reading her thoughts, his smirk widened into what looked like.... A grin? He walked, the glass beneath his feet crunching loudly, filling the tension in the room.

Utahime worried that the asshole could hear her stupid heart beat loud enough to make her vision a little shaky.

Gojo didn't know what the hell he was thinking but the rush of adrenaline made his heart beat fast, screw drugs, there was enough rush in making her flustered. And so ignoring the small and somewhat sensible voice in his head, like he always did, bent down and slid his hands under her knees and picked her up bridal style.

Utahime had only teleported with Gojo and once and she despised the thrill she got, her skin danced with excitement as Gojo's cold hands, "Get your goddamn hands off of me."

"Yes ma'am." Gojo said, knowing that he couldn't do this for more than 5 seconds, he savored and saved those five seconds.

Itadori easily walked in and started a conversation with the second years. Heartily laughing in his conversation with Maki Zenin about the pro's and con's of having an animal live with you. While Panda glared at the both of them as Maki listed her plenty of con's. Megumi however, wasn't feeling as well as his fellow classmate, the sick feeling he had at the entrance to the cabin had taken a turn for the worse. He wasn't going to throw up, he just felt frustrated, so much so that it felt like his insides were wrapping around itself. His shadow twisting every second and and barely being able to contain the shape of a human being. But no one else could see it, all they saw of Megumi's state was a slight discomfort that showed on his face. But anyone would expect that, Megumi wasn't the most social person. The only one who knew how to read him was probably Gojo or Shoko. And of course Tsumiki, she grew up with him and cared about him. She knew what he was thinking and feeling the moment she saw his face and the situation he was in.

" What's wrong with you?"

Megumi whipped his head around to face Maki, her eyebrows raised in either confusion or anger. Megumi definitely wasn't as scared as Itadori when it came to Maki, but he did have a slightly reserved fear for when Maki was annoyed at him.

"Nothing, are you enjoying the party that Gojo-Sensei threw?"

Megumi changed the topic quickly, truthfully answering Maki's question would mean that he would admit to the swirling feeling in his stomach. And that if anyone took a closer look at the young boy's shadow they would see the same twisting and swirling. The only person that even felt similarly to Megumi's emotions right now was Utahime. Who had still not understood why her heart had sped up ridiculously with her previous encounter with Gojo Satoru. Whereas the rest of the company had been surprisingly enjoying themselves. Even Mai had been enthusiastically talking to Nishimiya.

"Please, Gojo-Sensei obviously thought of the absurd idea but I have no doubt that he didn't help with the set up" Maki scoffed.

Megumi let a smile slip onto his lips and agreed with her.

He watched as Maki leaned against the bar counter which had been cleared of all alcoholic beverages and replaced with sparkling water and pink lemonade. Despite being at a party Megumi still spotted Maki's staff at the corner of the cabin.

"Where did Shoko-San go?" Maki suddenly asked. Megumi looked around the cabin searching for the brunette. Itadori was talking with Todo, no doubt getting tired from even trying to have a conversation with the brainless gorilla. After shortly scanning the room Megumi didn't find a Shoko but did find a flustered and increasingly mad Utahime who was trying to hold a civilized conversation with Gojo, but was clearly failing.

Gojo caught Megumi's gaze and waved, his dark sunglasses falling further down his nose with the action. Megumi narrowed his dark blue eyes in annoyance he didn't have the stomach to handle a discussion with his childish teacher.

"Hey! Megumi!"
