Perrie's POV

"Where are we going?" I asked for the umpteenth time.

"Shh..."

"Can you tell me at least who are we going with?"

"Perrie, stop moving!" Jade told me. "I'm almost done, okay?"

I can't believe I actually let her plan the rest of the night. But, I mean, look at her: with one of her hands cupping my face, the other skilfully giving the last touches with a lip brush. Full attention on my mouth; focused, yet still smiley.

She was so excited. How to say no?

"That should be alright, pet" she stated.

Took a step back to look at the bigger picture and grinned, satisfied.

"Can I look now?" I asked her out of cautious; even when we were at my bathroom, she hadn't let me see myself on the mirror I had at my back.

But I finally did. When she gave me the nod, I turned around and...

"Oh, wow..." I let out.

She had done a light -yet glittery, you know Jade- peach eyeshadow, including the lower eyelid, that contrasted beautifully with the dark mascara. A bold black cherry lipstick and dark eyebrows – mmh... these were maybe a little darker than what I was used to, but them still looked sick.

"What do you think?" she asked me. Her lower lip trapped in between her teeth, as if she was waiting the worst.

"Honestly?" I said, "I feel like Christina Aguilera in that movie, when she gets her makeup done by Cher".

"Mmh... not quite... but you're close" she said, cryptically. "Very close".

I didn't hate it. At all. But I was kinda confused on why she had chosen a more subtle makeup for herself...

"And... I might have something that can finish your look" she told me, before leaving the room. "Wait here!"

"I don't know, Jade. You did pretty amazing" I almost shouted for her to listen to me from the other room. I couldn't think of anything she could add, at least not to the makeup.

I stood up and checked the rest of my attire: a white short dress, with lace details and a little lose on the middle part, for obvious reasons.

"I was thinking on adding a jacket, you know? To help me disguise my bump a little more..."

"Oh, yeah. That can help too".

I turned around to face her innocent face looking at me, while evidently hiding something behind her back. A child she was...

"What you got there?" I felt obliged to ask.

I never thought it'd be that easy, but she brought one of her hands to the front, holding what it seemed like a... wig? Made out of long brown curls.

"... what is that?" I babbled.

"So, I was thinking..." she started, "this would look so good on you" she said, being led to the mirror, and back to my seat, without being able to avoid it. "And it might help you to go incognito a little bit more".
