*Warning: I don't know what to warn you about this time, umm... idk, drama? But I think you'll like it 😊*
Hello!
Next chapter, woo! 🥳
I wanna dedicate it to Perrie for her 28th birthday 🥰, but also to my babygirl @Jerriethingz cuz it was also her birthday, and just like Perrie, she's a ray of sunshine and she deserves all the best! 💝
Woo! Alright, without any other further ado, enjoy 🤗

Eight in the morning and Perrie was awake. Disgusting. But it was because she hadn't been able to sleep properly. She had been waking up during the night, thinking about the previous day, her boyfriend's attitude and how it had affected Jade; at the beginning, the brunette seemed to have efficiently found the solution to said little issue, but just in appearance, cuz the fact she had ended up the evening using her shoulder to hold back her tears, let her know how much she was actually keeping to herself...
... also, the memory of that last scene crushed her heart every time she remembered it.
While those thoughts, among others, were pretty much jumping up and down in her mind, someone came knocking on the door.
"Perrie?" it was Ellie.
She tussled her hair, lazily, before attempting to stand up from her bed, but she only gathered enough energy to sit up.
"Come on in!" she asked her cousin.
"Hey..." she lowered her voice seeing she had just woken up, but not slowing down the message she had for her. It seemed important. "Umm... Jade called me" she announced her cousin. "She asked me to throw you out of the mattress cuz she needs you to reply to her".
The curious blonde furrowed her brow.
"She said what is it about?" she asked, while trying to recall where on earth she had left her phone.
"Nope!" her cousin replied, but Perrie couldn't tell if she was being honest behind that smiley face. In fact, she was almost sure Ellie knew her own curiosity would be the only one capable of lead her way out of bed. "And wake up! The baby needs to eat something! Come on!"
Jade's POV
"... so, there you have it" I sighed, finishing the narration of the latest events going on in my life. No-filter, crude, raw material. All out. I slid my fingers through the black mane. "... what do you think, Spike?"
Even when Jordan's dog was absolutely not to blame for none of the mess I was dealing with in my head, I have to admit I used him to let all the worries out of my chest, and the weight off my shoulders. What can I say? He was a good listener.
In fact, once I was done, the only thing he did was wag his tail: strict to the point, honest and without judgment. Perfect.
"Yeah" I nodded, petting him. "Me neither..."
Like he promised me, Jordan let me take Spike out for a walk this morning. We had like an hour in this pet-friendly park near my building: the weather was nice, the sky was clear, and since it was still early, we hardly bumped into anyone.
Now, we were sitting on the grass, surrounded by these leafy oaks that provided shade and privacy. Perfect for the much pondering I had to do that morning.
Damn... I don't know what's going on with me lately. In my mind I got it all pretty clear: what's good, what's bad. What should and shouldn't do. But then, my heart...
