(Abhay's POV)

"Sid, I need to go out. Same place I was before."

"Where? Why? Is it important?"

"Yes, I dropped my protection bracelet over there." I mumbled.

"WHAT?"

"I'll get it back, I promise. Just don't tell mom."

"Ok, let's go."

We headed out into the forest. It was getting really late out.

"Is this the place?"

"Yep, let me go see over there. You look over there." I pointed to the other side of the area.

I looked near the bushes and found nothing. Sid was also unsuccessful. Then I heard footsteps coming in my direction.

"Abhay! What are you doing here?"
I turned around to see Piya standing there. Why was she still here?

"I was in the area and I lost my bracelet. It's very important." Have you seen it by any chance?"

"I did find a bracelet near the bushes, maybe it's yours." She reached into her pocket, and sure enough, it was mine.

"This is mine, thanks." I felt relieved.
She gave me a smile. Somehow, I couldn't take my eyes off her. She was the definition of beautiful.

"I'll be leaving now, bye Abhay."

"What were you doing here anyways?"

"I couldn't sleep, so I came here for a walk. I live nearby here, so..."

"Oh, well goodnight Piya."

"Goodnight, see you tomorrow."

(Piya's POV)

"Piya, you're finally back!"

"Yeah. You didn't sleep yet?"

"No, Kaka came back from work a while ago. I served him dinner." She paused. "I think we should talk to Kaka about his work hours....I mean he leaves before we wake up and comes home late at night. What kid of job requires that?

"I know, I'm worried about that too." I thought for a moment. "Listen, I thinking of taking up a job to help him."

"Job and college work? Will you be able to manage?"

"Why not? Kaka has taken care of us for so long, like his own children. We Gould help him out a bit."

"True. Well, lets discuss this later. I'm sleepy."

Should I tell her I met Abhay in the forest? No, it isn't important.

"Ok, goodnight, sweetest buddy." I gave her a hug.

"Goodnight." She yawned heavily.

(Abhay's POV)

Sid and I climbed through his bedroom window, to avoid mom noticing. Shweta jumped, almost screaming. She was watching a movie.

"Sid, what are you two doing? Can you use the front door like normal people? Oh wait we're vampires, so never mind." She turned back to the movie.

"Abhay, you go back to your room. Mom shouldn't know about this, or she'll tell dad when he gets back."

"I'm going. You watch the movie with your wife." I blew her a kiss. Shweta smiled.

"Okay, no need to flirt with your bhabi." Sid said sarcastically.

"Goodnight." And I left the room.

I felt an attraction to Piya whenever I saw her, like I've known her for years. Her beauty was captivating. I wanted to know all about her. Why? Who am I to know all this?
