Naruto: The Unknown Prodigy

"I'm found out already huh"

NARUTO'S POV

It's been 3 weeks since we asked Iruka sensei to make tag at the old playground a school activity. Well to clarify it's been 3 weeks since I talked to the Hokage about making tag at the old playground a school activity and he said it was ok. I even helped with the paperwork and everything. The class seemed pretty pleased when they heard about it. I thought everything was going fine until.

"Naruto, can I talk to you for a second."

"What's up Shikamaru, it's not like you to start conversations."

"Well I have been thinking about this for some time and I feel like now is the time to ask."

"Um ok."

"Do you think he is going to confess, " Kurama smirked.

"Stfu Kurama you know I don't swing that way and I doubt it."

"Geez, I'm just saying."

"Ok, I'm just gonna come out and ask, just who are you really?"

I was very much stunned, I know I didn't put a lot of effort into actually hiding my identity, but I never did anything risky enough to give it away. I quickly regained my posture to turned to talk to him.

"What do you mean exactly?"

"Don't play dumb, your way smarter and stronger than you seem to let on. I thought it was because you didn't want Sakura on your back for being better than Sasuke but your not the type to let people like her bother you."

"I don't see how that would make you question my identity."

"Then there is the fact that you always take off sick yet every time you come here your perfectly fine. Normally it would be, well normal but you would take off two weeks or more at a time. If it was a chakra disease you would be stuck in the hospital and would be very weak. However, you seem to be able to move around just fine."

"That's because I get special training from Pervy Sage to help me deal with the disease until it goes away."

"It's a good thing you brought up Lord Jiraiya because he was my next point. You claim that he is your godfather and that I do believe. But he was only in the village for the last 6 months and you apparently "had the disease" ever since you entered the academy. Not to mention you would have to be someone pretty important to be somewhat related to someone as highly ranked as him."

"Kid I think he got you."
"Again stfu."

"And finally my last point, the game of tag we had three weeks ago."

"What about it."

"At the end when I got Ino, she told me her next target was you yet she got Kiba instead. Ino claimed you tricked her with a substitution jutsu and once again I do believe that. However, Ino is a sensory type and the substitution jutsu isn't all that hard to do. It's used as a simple counter-attack method so you couldn't have gone far. Yet Ino couldn't sense you at all. Kiba claimed that he was with Hinata but then he got lost somehow. He was stuck figuring out where he was when Ino sensed him and managed to touch him. My guess is that you used genjutsu to set up Kiba so he could go towards Ino and then later released it so he would get confused. Leaving Ino the time to sense him and find him before he could run away. That really isn't something an academy student can do, that's more chunin level. So tell me, am I wrong."

I stared at Shikamaru with a blank look on my face. Kurama busted out laughing and I couldn't help but smile a little. At this point, there was nothing I could say that would make me less suspicious. Well, there could have been but I was too impressed to come up with one.
