NARUTO'S POV

"Kitsune(fox), Inu(dog), Karasu(crow), your mission is as follows, you are to infiltrate the Iron Country and get more information on an S-rank group called the Akatsuki, " Lord Third says.

"Is that the group Pervy Sage was checking out, " I asked.

"Yes, he claimed any further investigation would put him in too much danger, therefore you three shall go since your the strongest in the anbu. You will meet up with Phoenix since he is there. Kitsune, you're in charge, and make sure all of you stay on your toes."

"Yes sir, " we all said in unison as we shunshined away.

A FEW HOURS LATER...

"Hey Pervy Sage, I'm going to be leaving now, " I said at the gate.

"Be careful Naruto, I know you have support but this group isn't to be messed with, " Pervy Sage said concerned.

"I know and don't worry we will only engage in combat if necessary, " I ensured him.

Then Kakashi and Itachi shunshined next to us. It was in the middle of the night so only Pervy Sage saw us leave. It would take a week at most to get there but we all had good stamina so we were able to go with only taking one break. We made it on the morning of the 4th day and decided to meet up with Shisui (who is Phoenix ) before hitting the hot springs and then later getting to work.

"There he is, " I told Kakashi and Itachi.

"Shisui, over here, " Itachi called out.

"It's been a while Itachi, " Shisui said as he nuzzled Itachi's hair, "you too Kakashi."

"Shisui, we are going to the hot springs for now, while we are there you can tell me what you know, " I ordered.

"Yes Captain, I will, " he bowed.

AT THE HOT SPRINGS...

"So Shisui, let's begin, " I say as I activate a sound barrier around the pool.

"Right so I gathered some info but only just as far as their names and abilities, " Shisui said as he got in the hot spring.

"Oh, do tell, " I reply.

"There are 10 of them, their names are Konan, Hidan, Kakuzu, Kisame, Deidara, Sasori, Zetsu, Tobi, Orochimaru, and the leader Nagato. We already know about Orochimaru so I did some background info on all the others. The only ones I couldn't find anything on were Zetsu and Tobi."

"Tell us about all the others then, we will work on them later, " I said.

"Very well, Nagato and Konon are from the Hidden Rain Village. Nagato has a rinnegan but I don't actually know what it does."

"No wonder Pervy Sage is so cautious, the only other person that I know about at least from the scrolls that had a rinnegan was the Sage of Six Paths. The rinnegan gives one the ability to push and pull anything and absorb jutsu, " I told everyone.

"Seriously, so does that mean that genjutsu may be our best option against the leader, " Kakashi asked.

"Probably but we actually need to witness his powers to conclude, now Shisui please continue on your report."

"I also believe it's in your best interest to know that Nagato is from the Uzumaki clan just like you are, " Shisui told me.

"That's just great, you're telling me I have an evil distant cousin. I don't know much about my clan but I was planning on asking Pervy Sage one day. When we get back I guess I'll have him tell me everything he knows, " I sighed.
