A fresh start

I groaned. The light was already shining through my new curtains, I opened my eyes and squinted at the light. This was nothing like my old room, first of all my walls were black, these are blue and it's all just upside down.

My family never wanted to move in the first place but that's just how my dad's job works, wherever his job takes him, we have to follow. So I've found myself feeling like a yo-yo moving up and down the country every few months, quite frankly it's driving me insane.

Obviously my room isn't exactly to my liking seeing as we moved in only a few nights ago, but I managed to save a few old Muse posters from my old house and stuck them onto my wall.

I stretched my arms out and managed to get out of bed, more like rolling if you ask me. Starting new schools is never easy for me, bullies were one problem. No matter what school you go to dickheads are always going to ruin your day in one way or another. Sighing, I pulled out my black skinny jeans out my wardrobe (that I only just managed to put my clothes into last night, video games are priority) and the darkest shirt I could find.

I looked in my mirror and winced at what I saw, my hair was curly and sticking up in all directions. Sleepily, I grabbed my straighteners and straightened my hair.

After a while longer of eating breakfast and doing all the usual morning routine stuff I got to the door. Breathing out, my hand hovering above the door handle, "I can do this." I whispered to myself.

And with that, I left for school.
