I walked over to Phil, who was trying not to show he was crying when he noticed I had saw he was.

"Phil, what's wrong?" I asked him, awkwardly placing my hand on his shoulder, a lump forming in my throat.

"I- I used to do that and I-it's b-bringing back s-so m-m-many b-bad memories." He only just managed to stutter his words out before bursting into tears. I didn't have time to wonder why he cut before, I just needed to comfort him.

Chris and PJ already took the hint and went to sit on a nearby bench, relatively close, yet far enough not to hear.

I turned to Phil, he looked into my eyes and I stared back, his eyes looked more noticeably blue when you stared into his eyes for long enough. I finally sighed and looked away, blushing.

"Phil, if you want to talk about it, I'd listen." I said finally, quiet, yet loud enough for him to hear.

"O-okay," he began.

I sat on the grass and he did the same, he began to open his mouth to begin the story.
