That night I spent hours on end re-assessing my plan over and over in my head until I practically went insane. I kept thinking if I really wanted to do this, it turns out I didn't, but what choice do I have? I am not risking getting caught by a teacher... Or somehow worse, my friends.
I don't know when I fell to sleep during my vortex of never ending thoughts but the next day I woke up to hearing the kettle wheezing loudly downstairs. I grabbed my phone and checked the time, it read '6:30am'. Way too early for me, yet I knew I had to get up for my plan to work.
I quickly got up, showered and got dressed, then I grabbed my biggest sport bag and packed everything I needed. My phone, a notepad, a pen, some food and a bottle of water. I stopped and looked into the mirror, many people would see an average brown haired person staring back at them when they look at me, yet I see a mess, an ugly mess.
Suddenly, I heard the front door slam, good my parents had gone to work and my brothers would already be at school, so I was safe to leave. I ran to the first place I needed to go, phil's house.
I knocked frantically on phil's door, hoping desperately for it to be answered soon. A blonde haired girl, who looked like she was around 19 years old. "Uhm... Hi?" She said in an awkward, yet calming tone. "I need to speak to Phil, it's urgent." I replied quickly, it was obvious I was rushing. "He's right upstairs. His room is the one with the muse posters on the door." She replied, opening the door wider and gesturing me inside.
I walked quickly up these unfamiliar stairs and knocked on his door, in awe of his many muse posters. A messy haired, yet fully dressed Phil answered. "What are you doing here?" He said, in more of a surprised tone than an annoyed tone.
"To see you," I replied "please trust me with this, we really need to do this."
Phil looked at me with a worried expression but nodded and grabbed his bag, not bothering to question me. We ran out his front door, not bothering to say goodbye to the blonde girl who I assumed was his sister.
"What is this about?" Phil asked me as soon as we got outside. "I'll explain later," I replied "do you know where Chris and PJ live?" I said, firing a question back at him.
"Uhm yes...?" He said, very slightly confused.
"Let's go." I said.
We got Chris and PJ and we all walked to the park. I leaned against the gate of the parked checked my phone '7:30' it said. I breathed out heavily as the others stood next to me.
"Okay. Why are we here Dan?" Chris asked me, I nodded and began to explain the whole plan.
"Okay..." PJ said, "But why exactly are we doing this 'plan'?"
"A lot of reasons, also I really hope you don't mind," they nodded as if to say they didn't mind. I rolled up my sleeves unwillingly, revealing my many scars.
I first heard PJ gasp, I looked over at Chris, he looked really sad, and Phil...
Wait.
Was Phil...
