Ana's P.O.V.
CC was just feet away. So was Jake. I knew this couldn't be coincidence. Who's side was Jake on? First trying to get me with Andy and then bringing CC around. What the fuck? I stood up but Andy gently pushed me back down on the bench and went over to CC.
I just saw them talking. I heard nothing. Andy was using hand gestures and speaking quietly. CC looked shocked. I wasn't sure what was being said but CC looked at me with pain in his eyes.
I could tell Andy was in mid-sentence when CC started to walk my way.
"A deal? You cared enough to make a deal? Then you kiss him? I'm not sure what I'm supposed to believe. Tell me what's happening, Ana."
I was speechless. I didn't know what was happening. I didn't know what to believe myself. Its true, I did make the deal because I wanted CC back. But then tonight with Andy I had so much fun.
CC shook his head when I didn't answer. He walked away. Past Andy. Past Jake. Past everyone. He wasn't coming back. Part of me wanted to run and go tell him I only wanted him. But then Andy would be hurt.
And if I stated here, CC would be hurt. So I didn't do either. I stood.
And I ran.
Ran away from CC.
Away from Jake.
Away from Andy.
Away from my problems.
Away from life.
