Kids, I know I have a lot of followers, but that doesn't mean you can't rant to me. That doesn't mean you can't talk to me. I always try to answer and I do pretty well most of the time. I love and care for all of you so much and there's nothing I wouldn't do for you.
I know you've all been hurt before. I know you all have needed someone before who wasn't there. Trust me, it's happened to me too. There are so many people in the world though who'll be more than happy to talk to you. I don't care if there's a day you're damn sure the sky's purple and want to rant to me about that. Rant about how the sky's purple. Rant to me about your ex. Rant to me about your family. Rant to me about how running sucks. Just get it off your chest.
I want to make sure all of you are healthy and happy and I don't care what it takes for me to make sure you are. I know life is really hard and even though COVID is coming to an end, there are side effects from it and things that we can't change even now. People died, people cried, but people also came together.
I've seen you kids take care of one another and be there for each other! It's amazing because you've straight up told me, "Don't worry Dad, I've got them. I'll take care of them too." You have all done so much for each other and have been so kind! It's amazing and I'm so, SO proud of all of you. You have no idea how happy I am to know that you kids are taking a stand to help one another.
And I know that helping people can be stressful too. That's why I'm here to help you guys out as well. I'm your dad. I'm here to be a role model. To be someone fun to talk to. To be a shoulder to cry on. I'm here for YOU. I'm here you ALL OF YOU. Don't you think that because I have a few minor things going on that you can't talk to me.
Please remember that you can help people, but you have to help yourself too. So rant to me. Tell me why you're angry, or sad, or bored. Tell me why Mr. Bob is a dick. Tell me why Fiona needs to be beaten with a shoe. Tell me why. And get it off your chest.
I love you kids with everything I am. Never forget that.
