- Chapter two -

"Do you want cash back?" she questioned, looking angry.

"No thank you," I nodded.

I grabbed up my bags, struggling to collect them all. They hung tight on my arms, and my fists clinched the tearing handles tightly. I began to wobble off, struggling to walk. I nearly made it out the grocery store until my phone began to ring. I attempted to maneuver my hand into my pocket, but it didn't work that way. One of my bags flipped over, and out fell a jar of olives. I shrieked to myself knowing it would smash soon. Suddenly a strong hand caught it seconds before it hit ground, placing it back in my bag.

"Thank you so- Harry?"

He smiled to me and nodded while gesturing towards my phone.

"You better get that," he whispered.

I shook my head, hypnotized.

"N- no. It can wait," I stuttered.

I didn't want to risk losing him again.

"Are you sure?" He insisted.

"I am," I replied, smiling.

He tucked his hands into his pockets, glancing at me shyly.

"You look beautiful," he sighed.

"T-thanks," I mumbled in disbelief.

I thought to myself and decided I couldn't let this moment slip away from me.

"Harry I'm really sorry," I breathed, trying to make this as comfortable as possible.

Just then he grabbed the bags from my hands forcefully.

"I'll help you with these," he smiled.

"Thanks," I replied, feeling my heart race.

"My car is this one here," I pointed.

He picked up in speed, and began to walk towards it.

"I remember," he grinned.

I looked down to my feet, and continued to walk. I was tempted to pinch myself just to make sure this wasn't another dream.

I popped my trunk open, and Harry placed the bags into it neatly.

"Is that all you had planned today?" He shyly questioned.

I bit my lip, and stared out to the parking lot.

"Kind of," I murmured,"This and putting them up at home."

"I can help," he shot quickly.

"Oh, um, okay," I whispered.

I cleared my throat and began to walk towards my drivers seat, motioning him to sit in the passengers.

He didnt bother to open my door, although he flinched to, because I was nearly there by the time I finished speaking.

We sat in the car, my heart beating a mile a minute.

"What about your car?" I shyly suggested.

"I walked here. I've been really into working out lately."

"Oh, I remember you always said you wanted to get into shape," I giggled.

His eyes lost their shine at the sound of bringing up our past, and I could tell he was still just as heart broken as I was.

I breathed in deeply, and began to drive out the lot. I struggled to see behind me due to my gain of a new passenger. I didn't make it obvious, but I tried seeing past Harry's head slyly.

"Nothing's coming," he whispered through a smile.

I grinned back, and continued to drive.
