- CHAPTER EIGHT -

"It's just like, I can't get him out of my head.. And I don't want to," I moaned.

A loud roar of thunder sounded quickly.

"I just can't believe you still like him.. After what happened," Dannon mumbled.

I buried my face in my hands while shaking my head.

"I know," I whined, feeling ashamed.

I heard her stand off of the couch to come meet me in my chair.

She put an arm around me as I began to cry.

"It'll be okay," she comforted.

"I don't know what to do," I replied in a shaking tone.

"Just... Just do what you know is right," she muttered.

My tears stopped nearly suddenly, and I sat up after a few silent seconds.

"I'm in love with him," I admitted with a sigh.

"Well it sounds like you've got everything figured out," she replied with a smile.

I grinned lightly through a few tears before standing up.

"What's pizza huts number?" I questioned.

She stood up quickly.

"That's the spirit," she said with a squeal, while running over to the phone book.

We watched the screen in anticipation.

"Don't turn around," Dannon mumbled, gazing up to the Tv.

"Don't turn around!" I repeated out of distress.

Just then a knock sounded through my apartment, causing me and Dannon to jump from the floor with surprise.

I wiped my hands on my pants as I walked over to the door, breathing heavily.

"They weren't lying when they said quick delivery," I added before unlocking my deadbolt.

I looked up in shock to see Harry standing in front of me, rather than the pizza guy.

"I can't stay away," he breathed, gazing down to me.

Suddenly he stepped in closer, gripping my waist.

He pressed his lips to mine, and kissed me while pinning me against my wall gently.

I kissed him back willingly, nearly forgetting our audience.

I heard Dannon clear her throat awkwardly from the living room.

Harry backed away from me, and scrunched up his face.

"You're not home alone are you?" He questioned, looking embarrassed.

I laughed to myself, and smiled.

"No," I replied, looking up to him innocently.

He turned around to face my living room, where Dannon sat, pointing towards the doorway.

The door still sat open, but there stood a pizza guy.

I played in my hair with an uncomfortable nature.

"Well this is awkward," I quietly muttered, only intending for Harry to hear.

He nodded his head, ashamed.

"Yeah I know," he replied.

He walked up the man, and mumbled a few words while handing him some cash.

He slammed the door quietly before placing the box upon the counter.

"That's the last time I try making a move on you suddenly," he smiled.

"Good idea," Dannon added, standing to her feet and walking over to us.

She grabbed a slice of pizza hesitantly.

I grabbed one too, and Harry did so as well.

"No boys allowed," Dannon said in a playful voice.

"Don't worry Dannon, I'm leaving soon," Harry replied, not looking too amused.

Although I enjoyed Dannon's company, I didn't want Harry to go.
