note: these are not my opinions although I agree with most of them, this is from a post I made on my profile like a month ago but never got around to putting here so there we go.
i. damon was a horrible person. ( strongly agree with this ! )
ii. season 7 and 8 are actually really good. season 7 had a lot of different plots but in the end, it was working towards one thing. and season 8 was just sooo good. the plot was really good with the whole hell devil type of thing.
iii. klamille wasn't a good ship.
iv. klaus & hayley should've been endgame.
v. klaus shouldn't have risked his life for his daughter, instead, let elijah take all the power. (hope needed her dad, especially after her mom died )
vi. freya's background was sadder than klaus'.
vii. the heretics were amazing and all deserved better.
viii. valerie and stefan could've been an amazing couple.
ix. kol and davina were really weird. she was sixteen, and kol was an original vampire who was over a thousand years old.
x. tyler had every right to be angry at caroline for sleeping with klaus because that man ruined his life, killed his mother, and constantly got in the middle of his relationship with caroline and she allowed it.
xi. the entirety of rebekah and marcel's relationship was basically grooming. he was technically klaus's son making her marcel's aunt. she knew him since he was a kid, and helped raise him as he grew older, only for them to fall in love once he became of age. she basically groomed him.
xii. marcel had every right to betray the originals and punish them for all they've done to him because of the near fact they were reasons his daughter was dead, and they've constantly treated him like crap despite the multiple times he's helped them.
xiii. majority of the couples on the show were toxic.
xiv. enzo and marcel are too underrated.
xv. katherine got really pathetic in season 5 when she literally did exactly what she accused elena of doing only a few episodes earlier? she literally stole the body of a teenage girl.
xvi. if a salvatore brother had to die, it should've been both of them to show their relationship had truly been repaired beyond petty fights over indecisive girls and the false belief one had to be "the better brother/man".
xvii. tvd severely lacked lgbtq and poc representation.
xviii. elena wasn't that bad. yeah, she cried a lot but hating her for having a healthy coping mechanism is shitty.
xix. josh's death was simply rude. he and aiden should've lived.
xx. delena, klaroline, and haylijah were all toxic.
xxi. mikaelson siblings' codependency was really toxic.
xxii. FINN MIKAELSON DESERVED BETTER.
xxiii. cami is overhated.
xxiv. jeremy's trauma is overlooked.
xxv. steroline<<<delena.
xxvi. bonnie was the real hero in the show.
xxvii. ric should've died in s6.
xxviii. tyler lockwood is a dick but his character development would've been beautiful after he became a werewolf.
xxix. klaus in tvd was super freaking creepy.
xxx. katherine had the potential to be the best villain in tvd but writers turned her into a sappy character.
