i. deny it all you want but even you, delena worshippers, did ship stelena in the first two seasons. They were the definition of cute and absolutely epic. There relationship was a fast burn but it was amazing, Stefan could respect Elena's choices even I they affected him and Elena could accept Stefan for who he was. No matter what either did in past, present, or future.
ii. a real healthy relationship is the one when you can stop having feelings for someone but still maintain a good friendship. Stelena as a romantic or friend ship was equally as loved and appreciated because both were real and genuine. When Damon tried to walk away from Elena, he was like "I don't wanna see your face again." Some called it love, I call it obsession. If he had loved her as much as Stefan did then he would have wanted her to be happy with or without him.
iii. Stefan sacrificed and would sacrifice anything for her, and vice versa. At a time, she was literally the only person he cares for that he didn't try to stop Damon so that he wouldn't speak back by hurting Elena.
ix. They could both proudly admit that they will always be one another's epic loves because they are practical soulmates and no matter what comes in between them, they have too good of memories to let go of them. I dare you to give me something that screams more epic that that? I am waiting !
x. I think we can all admit that if Damon had an ounce of respect towards his brother's relationship then Stelena would have been the real endgame. But it's just same old selfish Ratmon Salvawhore.
xi. honestly I don't see the hype about delena, all they do is fight, break up, and have sex...that's not exactly a material of endgames.
xii. I just think that in the earlier seasons and last seasons parallels for Stefan and Elena could easily overpower Damon's. There's were all so pure and heartfelt, yk?
xiii. the fact that they first met and parted in the same school's hallway still breaks my heart till today...it's just so sad for such a ship to end in the most epic but heartbreaking way in my history of watching TV shows.
