"Ya safwan come and see what dalil is doing I'm going to spank him."Khair say collecting her laptop from the little boy.

"Language Khair,
You are been extra grumpy nowadays."imran say holding his little girl.

"Whatever,
I'm soo tired of this house,
Uggghh."Khair say frustratedly and close her laptop shut.

"Then leave nobody is forcing you to stay here."safwan say and Khair glare at him.

"What are you doing here didn't you have your own house, go to your wives all of you."Khair say as the door bell ring making her to groan.

"Who is it?
Somebody cannot have peace of mind, it's few minutes to midnight."Khair grumble and stand up tiredly.

Looking around the house alot has changed making him nod, he couldn't wait tomorrow before he sees her, he's been yearning for this month for the past 8years he has to sneak out from his family to come see her, how could he sleep without seeing her knowing she's just 20minutes drive away from him, he press the doorbell once again and the door creak open.

"Who is.........she say and pause.

Staring at her sooraj eyes wander from her face back to the visible big bump in her stomach, he look at her face once again and look at the pregnancy bump, he feel like his world is spinning.

"Who's that Khair?"someone say and open the door widely revealing her brother.

"Suu......Khair try saying but he turn and walk away, staring at the man she once loved walking away Khair feel every piece of her heart breaking into pieces, she wishe she waited longer, she waited,
Khair know she did waited for him she wonder why God choose to punish her this way, it's been just a year she married if she know she would have waited longer.

Driving out of the house sooraj park his car at a secluded space around the area, the image of a pregnant Khair keeps on popping into his head,
She promised him she would wait it's just 8years he thought she genuinely loved him, he was going to tell her he love her and that she was the best thing that ever happened to him, for the past 8years aside his family she was always on his mind,
How could she do this to him, sooraj feel every bit of his heart shattering into pieces he wished he never know khair,
  she was the one who changed him into this sensitive emotional man and right this minutes she has taken that nice sooraj away, people been emotional and nice always end up getting hurt Khair has proven that to him and he believe there isn't any point in loving any lady because they are all thesame Khair has proven that to him, she betrayed his trust.
His phone ring with his mum name on the screen, he sigh and start the car.

Crying silently on the couch Khair feel helpless, she feel guilty for betraying sooraj trust he promised he would come back to her regardless how long it takes she should have trust him and waited as promised.

"Khair now that you are crying
how do you think Abdul will feel if he knows the reason you are crying,
You don't have to blame yourself, you two weren't ment for each other, you waited and waited you've done your best."safwan say sitting next to Khair.

Khair doesn't know why she's crying,
She won't say marrying Abdul was a wrong decision because he truly love her and she also start having feelings for him but seeing sooraj after all this year's just bring back all the sweet,sour and bitter memories they've shared together.

"Sooraj wasn't ment for you Khair,
Abdul love and care about you,
I understand that you really do love sooraj but sometimes we don't always get what we want, I'm sorry you have to go through this but you have to stop crying because your husband will soon be here and it won't be nice if he find out the reason you are crying."imran say Trying to console his sister as he massages her head.

After few minutes Khair cry herself to sleep, Abdul come and ended up picking her to the car and drive home.

The next morning the bilal household was a busy one khairat want to prepare different varieties of food for sooraj, after he came back late night yesterday he told him he's exhausted and needed to rest which they gladly let him leave for his apartment.

"Hayat bring the Baked Oatmeal, Tacos and Egg McMuffins."khairat yell from the dinning as she arrange the dishes with a smile.

"Mummy where should I drop this?"samha ask holding the fried plantain bowl with egg sauce, khairat collect it and find a place on the dinning table and drop it.

After several minutes khairat is satisfy by the way the dinning looks, she glance at the wall clock and it's 10:50.

"Okay
Let me go and call him you all should get sitted."khairat say and happily leave the parlour to go call her son, she misses him soo much, the security guard greet her and she nod with a smile and enter the apartment.

Laying on his bed sooraj stare at the white wall he's Soo used to not sleeping most especially on a soft mantras , he has been awake all night and some times his mind will wander back to Khair.

"Sooraj."khairat say knocking on the bedroom door as she slightly open it.

"Mummy,
Goodmorning."sooraj say with a smile as his mum enter the bedroom and sit next to him on the bed.

"Morning,
How are you?
How was your night?
Hope you have get rid of all the stress in you."khairat say looking at her son as she brush his afro hair making him to smile.

"I'm fine mum.
I still can't believe I'm home after all this years, i was losing all hopes of coming back."he say as he reminisce about the horrible incidence at Afghanistan.

"I never stop praying for you,
All this years even for once have i give up i know my son is a fighter, a survivor and will never quit or give up easily, i always believe you will come back to us regardless how long it takes."Khairat say staring at her son.

"You do ?"he ask and his mum nod.

"I do sooraj,
I know you will come back sooner or later."she say and he slightly smile.

He wonder why Khair couldn't believe and trusted him the way his family did, she should have confided in him when he told her he will be back rather she break him apart all over again.

"Are you alright?"khairat ask she do know something is bothering her son since he got back from wherever he went to last night his mood has completely changed.

"I'm fine mum,
I'm just not use to all this anymore,
The environment serenity, the food everything just feel weird."he say and khairat sigh, she slightly hug him and kiss him on the cheek.

"Your breakfast is ready."khairat say and sooraj sigh.

"Can i have it in my bedroom?"he ask, khairat look at her son she wanted them to have a family breakfast but she doesn't want to seem Soo persuasive.

"Okay no problem,
What do you want to eat?"she ask and he shrug.

"Anything mummy."he say standing up from the bed.

"Okay,
Just get ready and your food will be ready soon.
I love you."she say and kiss him on the cheek making him to smile and she leave the bedroom.

Sooraj sigh tiredly and enter the bathroom, he needed to take a very long shower to get rid of all the stress, emotions and whatever stupid thing that became his weakness for the past 8years, he needed his old self back, he needed the emotionless, insensitive and uncaring sooraj back he needed to move on and forget all the pain and betrayal khair inflicted in him and he will do just that by taking a long shower.

It's not my fault Khair did what she has to do don't blame me.

Now we are back to square one again the grumpy surly sooraj once again.

Who is going to unbreak this surly, insensitive sooraj once again?
