Breakfast isn't something sooraj missed, he do rather have his breakfast and go a whole day without eating rather than missing his morning breakfast.
Eating the plantain sauce he sip his glorious black coffee.

"Sooraj.
I want you to go and visit your fiancee today so you two can get to know each other because her uncle and your dad have already discussed about your wedding date they haven't come to conclusion yet and he think is wise if you two get to know more about each other."khairat say with a smile looking at her stubborn son.

"I am having a very important meeting mum."sooraj say and hayat chuckle.

"And what is funny miss?
You are going to see khair today,
When will you get to know her if not now, don't come back to this house if you didn't go and see her."khairat say sternly making sooraj to sigh knowing  his mum is definitely serious.

"Ok mum."he reply making zayd to look at him with a smile.

"Zayd are you going to be very busy today?"Bilal ask his son making everyone to turn there attention to zayd.

"Not really.
Have 3 surgeries to conduct after that i will be free all day, maybe."he say with a shrug.

"Ok.
So i have find a girl for you."he say looking at his son with a smile.

"Ohh ."zayd say not knowing what to say.

"Yes.
Or do you have someone you are seeing?
If you do then it's fine because i told her dad i will have to speak with you then get back to him. "Bilal say looking at his son confused.

" just give me some time dad."zayd say and bilal node.

"Okay.
I'll get going i am already running late.
Have a great day everyone."sooraj say and bid goodbye to everyone with his mum reminding him to go visit khair.

"Sir I've some information about the girl."His driver say once they start driving.

"the girl is from Kogi state she's a graduate of some university in the UK, she usually come to visit one of the doctors in the "St Thomas hospital" her mum is late, her dad is a business man she has an elder brother."He explain.

"Which doctor did she go to see?
Did they live in kogi state?"sooraj ask going through the information in the paper.

"Yes they live in kogi state.
I don't know sir, the hospital is very strict in there patient confidentiality."he replied and sooraj node.

He go through the address and send the details to his brother immediately.

You need to be calming down ya sooraj isn't the nicest person to meet ."Basmah say as Khair rummage through her wardrobe to find something suitable to wear.

"Wlh Anty basmah you are not helping matters here,
Do you think he will like this?"Khair ask showing the black abaya to basmah.

"Sincerely speaking wlh Khair i don't know, just wear anything decent that you will be comfortable in,
I'will be right back let me go and get my phone maybe my husband called me."basmah say and leave the room,
Imran drop her off this morning, he's leaving for work but will be back in 3days time.

Khair sigh and sit on the bed tiredly,
She doesn't know what to expect from sooraj she wonder if truly sooraj was the one that actually said he wanted to visit or it's a cooked up story of her uncle she hoped it's not because she really do want things to be just normal between she and sooraj so she could fulfill her late dad dieing wished.

"Aren't you done it's 5:30pm already, mum said he's coming by 6:00 and you haven't done your make up yet."falak say entering the bedroom.

"I'm not doing any make up.
I'm not sure Sooraj is the type of guy to like all this girly make up stuff."Khair say and falak roll her eyes.

"Every guy  wants his girl to look beautiful, come on i will just do a simple one for you, just some concealer, a lipstick and eyeliner will do the trick."falak say and sit Khair on the couch.

Khair sit tiredly as falak begin doing her make up, the thought of meeting sooraj after all there weird and an unfortunate encounter scared her,
She wonder if zayd usually give him the gifts she bought for him, she mentally snort with an eyeroll, the fact he doesn't reply her message makes her feel cheap she's just trying to make things work, even do they arrested her and all the beating she received from the station he still didn't even bother to come check on her.

"Done."falak say looking at her sister who smile.

What time is it?"Khair ask staring at her reflection in the mirror.

"6:50pm,
He will soon be here,
Are you wearing the abaya?"falak ask and Khair node.

"Okay,
Then get dress i will go check on mum in the kitchen."falak say and leave the bedroom.

Khair begin dressing up muttering something prayers she doesn't understand why the thought of meeting with sooraj scared her, the ringing of her phone makes her sigh as she sluggishly pick the black iphoneX with a sigh, zayd name appear on the screen making her to swap it quickly.

"Hello Khair."he say in his usual soft voice.

"Yes,
Good evening ya zayd."she say putting on her earring.

Sooraj won't be able to come they just brought him home,
he has a seizure, sorry about that."he say and Khair sigh in relief.

"No,
It's fine i Will tell my mum,
How is he feeling,?"she ask worried.

"He's fine,
I'm sure he will make it up for you when he feels better."zayd say, the two talk for a couple of time before they bid there goodbye.

Khair throw the phone on the bed with a sigh, as bad as she hate sooraj she doesn't want anything to hurt him, the thought of sooraj having a seizure makes her chuckle "so the big guy isn't that tough"she mentally say laughing as she head downstairs to let her excited family know about the meeting cancellation.

"Honestly i did this because of the information you gave me about Amira, you will have to stay in this room and pretend to be sick i really don't want mum yapping at me because of you."zayd say to sooraj who's removing his uniform.

Apparently sooraj ask zayd to call Khair to lie about him having a seizure so he won't go see her, zayd agree to help him out in regard of the information he gave him about Amira.

"Whatever bro,
Mum will never find out you will just tell her I'm sick she's not a doctor she will believe you."sooraj say and zayd chuckle.

"I will definitely feel guilty for lieing t.......zayd don't get to finish his sentence the bedroom door open and there mum is standing looking at them.

"You don't have to feel guilty my dear i heard everything,
Khair and her family are coming to greet you since you have seizure,
Allah ya shiryeka sooraj."khairat say standing by the bedroom door.

"Are they seriously coming now,
It's past 8pm in the night."sooraj say baffle making zayd to chuckle.

"Yes.
Khair really want to see you."khairat say mockingly to her son.
"Anyway get ready they will soon be here."she said and leave the bedroom muttering about how irresponsible and mean sooraj can be when he's been pressurized to do something he doesn't want to..
