Birds announced the start of new day with their sweet songs . Soft rays of sun graced the world . Wind entered into the room of a Lan who just woke up . Those honey filled eyes slowly adjusted to light . Lan Wangji woke up in his usual time in Lan timetable . He took a bath and wore his honest to god white ropes .
He looked at the small box on the table with mixed emotion . Slowly he opened the box that had the rabbit pendent he got .(Chapter - Eventful Day ) Then he added that to his belt along with the Jade token . An unknown bliss touched his heart .
His eyes fell on the red silk material in the box which he didn't notice before . To his shock it was not a piece of red cloth . It was a pure silk red ribbon. He felt deva vu . Unconsciously he touched the red ribbon. And it felt like he had long relationship with that . After sometime he decided to stop staring at the innocent piece of cloth .
He grabbed his sword . He also took the war fan( Chapter - Eventful Day) and walked out from his room . He will have to look for books regarding the weapon in the library and find a suitable name for it .
Like his everyday routine he walked towards Jingshi. His father made that place for his mother . Till the age of 5 Lan Wangji stayed with his parents . Them he stayed with his brother in Hanshi till 12. Finally he decided to give his brother his own space . Lan Xichen of course didn't want his baby brother to live separately . But Wangji is always stubborn. Finally he made small house near cold pond . And cultivated and stayed there .
As soon as he entered Jinshi he saw his father and uncle are talking and his mother is cooking . After greeting his uncle and father , he walked to the kitchen to help his mother .
" Morning mother " he greeted her first .
She smiled and patted his arm gently . " You are early A'Zhan."
He nodded and helped in plating the dishes .
His mother's eyes fell the rabbit pendent and her eyes sparked with tease . Then soon Lan Zhan's ears heated up from all those teasing and he looked at his brother , who just arrived, for help .
But instead he did something or said something that made Lan Wangji look at him like he betrayed him .
" Mother remember when A'Zhan entered cold pond first time." Okay from where did that topic arrived now? They just need an excuse to embarrass him *small pout*
