it was the end of the year and U.A. had decided to surprise the students by taking them on a camping trip by a lake in the woods only this time they would have security so things wouldn't go like when the league of villains attacked.

y/n was currently setting up with bakugou seeing as this was his area of expertise and she knew that he loved doing this. she let him do all the work while she sat back and watched so she could do it if a next time arose.

once he was finished she watched as the tents popped up and raised a brow as she saw they were connected. "oh?

"if your tent shakes, my tent shakes. easier to know if you're in distress and easier to get to." he shrugged just to play it off and y/n gave him a soft smile. "you're so sweet katsu." y/n grabbed his hand and kissed it softly. "think nothing of it, extra."

the two had gotten close over their three years at U.A. and katsuki had a small, very small he insisted, small spot for y/n. they would hang out together and stuff and they had overall bonded even though katsuki would still lash out at her and make her cry to which he felt bad about.

y/n was the only one katsuki ever actually put some thought into before speaking because he didn't want to hurt her feelings and he knew he did that very easily. it was just something he couldn't turn off and had stopped working on if it wasn't y/n he was talking to. y/n liked having katsuki around because she knew that no one would try and mess with her because her little pomeranian was almost always by her side.

everyone they knew, including the teachers, thought they were dating but they always said no when someone asked. they did share their moments in the dark but would never let the fact see daylight.

"wanna go grab some wood with me?" y/n asked as she grabbed her bag and started digging through it, pulling out the little axe she had bought.

"why use that when you have me?" katsuki asked as his signature grin appeared on his face as he raised his hands up.

she put a hand on his wrist and pulled his hands down. "katsuki, honey, we're trying to get fire wood, not set the woods on fire." y/n spoke softly and katsuki looked disappointed but nodded.

"aizawa senpai, is it okay if bakugou and i go gather some fire wood?" y/n asked with little puppy dog eyes and aizawa nodded. "that's fine but try and stay close, we made the mistake last time of sending you too far." y/n nodded. "understood."

y/n ran back to bakugou and grabbed his hand as she led them both out to the woods. "i don't know if we should grab the small logs or big ones. i can't even carry the big ones, well not unless i carry them one by one."

"that's why im here dumbass." katsuki said as he flexed a little while y/n just rolled her eyes.

"uraraka would come in handy right now." y/n thought aloud as bakugou got closer to her. "what're-" y/n started before letting out a shriek as she felt something crawl on her ankle, looking down and seeing a centipede. "EWW KATSUKI GET IT OFF GET IT OFF!" y/n yelled while jumping into katsuki's arms and katsuki who was taken aback pushed y/n up against the tree behind her so she wouldn't fall.

by flaring her legs the centipede seemed to have flown off because it was no longer on her however she did seem to have a bigger problem and it was standing in front of her.
