As Sabre walked inelegantly into the room, he noted the security cameras.

Better be careful.

As he went to sit down he saw a stranger who was leaning against the wall behind Aizawa. He wore an outfit that gave off serious detective vibes, including the hat. It sat on a table beside him.

Aizawa sat across a small desk, awaiting for Sabre's arrival.

The unfamiliar man spoke first, sitting down in a chair opposite Sabre.

"I am detective Tsukauchi Naomasa. My quirk allows me to detect lies, so do not even attempt to do so. I will ask a short series of questions. To check if my quirk works on you, are we in a school? What is your full name, age, and quirk? Are you aware of your exact location?" he opened a notepad as he talked.

Sabre made a mental note to remember this 'quirk' and name.

"Nice to meet you, my full name is FavreMySabre. Call me Sabre though! We are not in a school. I'm 24 and I do not have a quirk. I have zero clue where I am."

"I am Aizawa Shouta, I'm a pro hero and a teacher at the prestigious U.A. high school here at Musatafu. Tell me, where did you come from? How did that lightning not hurt you more? What was that...glitch..that I saw you experience earlier? What are your intentions? What...are you?" Aizawa said this final line with a darker tone.

The tired man had an uncomfortably powerful aura about him. It scared Sabre. But he decided to swallow it and kept up his facade.

"I really have nothing to lose I guess.." Sabre muttered before speaking up, carefully resting his chin upon his scarred hands.

"I'm human, but not quite~" the player made direct eye contact with the teacher, unnerving him despite not seeing his eyes. "I am from a world you may know as a video game, a place made up of pixels and blocks.. And endless, sometimes terrifying possibilities.

I didn't mean to come here, I don't know why I was sent here by lightning. I have no plans to hurt another unless I must.."

Sabre shifted in his seat, propping his head against his hand. He wasn't certain these men would react kindly to his next words. He forced himself to ignore the building dread rising in his gut.

"I don't consider myself a hero. That thought process is too black and white. I'm a survivor. I don't consider myself the hero in any story or the evil mastermind running a corrupted empire.

I try to do what's right, and the best way to help me and my friends survive," he glanced down at his sword belt nervously.

He knew he was face to face with people who thought in black and white. He just hoped they wouldn't take his words personally.

A deep voice broke Sabre out of his thoughts. He looked up.

"Good to know. But I have multiple questions, and you didn't answer some of the ones I stated already," Aizawa said sternly, "how did the lightning strike and fix you? And what occurred that resulted in the..others doing that to you? What are they, and what is a player exactly?"

Sabre gulped. He had no idea what he was gonna need to explain, so he just went for it.

"I don't think I can explain to you..well..anything really. *laughs nervously*

I don't know what happened earlier to me.
To us.

All I know is that I was alone, besides two entities, in a different world and then lightning struck.

I got sent here. Then I saw people I didn't recognize but felt familiar with also there."

He paused, looking down as if concentrating on something. There was a small dark glitch, barely noticeable.
