Hi! So, because I can't seem to write the angst n stuff for the chapter 3 interrogation, I'm gonna sort of explain the lore (with pictures!!)

Our narration takes place just before the crystal explosion of the Reality Saga.

[Note that all of this story is explained by Sabre to those interrogating him - between chapters 3 and 4, but only his POV]

Sabre has sealed himself within the cold, dangerous chamber which the End Crystal resides in..

It's his fault.
His fault that this may be the end..
The end of everything.

His vision is already glitching.
Sabre quickly pulls off his bandana, wiping away tears..
"It's all my fault..." he says, an emotional breakdown barely hidden behind those words.
The human's body glitched, pink and purple particles appearing as the cubed crystal before him glowed a neon pink..

"..To anyone listening.." his breath hitched, growing uneven from the tears threatening to spill.

"I'm sorry.." he whispered, as the glow overtook his vision.

And then everything exploded.

Alex was more than just scared

Alex was more than just scared.
She was terrified.

The girl flew with haste, as her closest friend was left behind..
To die.

She didn't want him to do this.
She almost wanted to go back.
She was willing to risk death just in the off chance she could take it without the one person whom she knew believed in her and everyone.
Alex knew she could trust Sabre.
So she ran.
Ran for her life.
If Sabre was going to sacrifice himself, Alex knew he just wanted his friends to survive.

So she did.
She flew.
She sped past reddened clay hills, dried out trees, dozens of dead bushes.
Still not far enough.
