The past that always bother the future

Third person's POV

Seungcheol and Jeonghan arrived at DIAM💎ND Entertainment, Jeonghan was still a crying mess and even though this is painful for Seungcheol to see, he just couldn't brought himself to comfort the latter.

By the time they entered Seungcheol's office, they both sat down on the couch and didn't bother to talk to each other.

The room was so quiet that only their breathes can be heard. It was so quiet yet so loud.

The two made eye contact but broke it afterwards because of their lost of words to say.

An unexpected visitor had entered the room which caugth both of the CEO's attention.

"Cheol hyung!" That anonymous person shouted with a cheerful tone.

That person stiffed when he saw that cheol wasn't alone but when he saw who it was, his cheerfulness came back and quickly gave Jeonghan a hug.

"Jeonghan hyung! Since when have you arrived from you're trip to Paris?"

"Long time no see changkyun. I just arrived last night, sorry for not informing you guys" Jeonghan replied, trying to sound happy even though he really isn't.

Changkyun is Seungcheol and Jeonghan's close friend from Monsta X and the three of them met each other on Cross Academy even before the break up between the exes happened.

"Hyung...are you alright?" Changkyun asked as he broke the hug and made Jeonghan flinch.

The two remained quiet and didn't try to answer nor deny anything from the younger. They already know that denying it is no use since Changkyun never actually believes what they say and he always follow his instincts so what's the point in wasting the time to deny it, right?

"Tell me, what happened? Did the two of you fight?" He asked which only made the two older shook their heads rapidly.

"Then what's wrong?" He asked again that made the atmosphere gloomy.

Jeonghan didn't talk nor look at anyone and just looked down on his lap until Seungcheol finally spoke.

"Our exes..." Seungcheol started

"Chan and Joshua hyung?" He stated that made the two nod in response

"What's up with them?" Changkyun asked

"W-we met them this m-morning..." Jeonghan stuttered and bit his lip rashly and tried so hard not to cry even more in front of the younger.

"Of course you'll meet them. They're idols now right? They'll also soon join you're company so it isn't surprising that you got to meet them." He said which shocked the two in front of him

"How did you know that they're idols now? And that they'll join our company???" Seungcheol asked the latter.

"Remember when we participated in KCON LA? Surprisingly, they're also there and that's when I knew that they're already idols under Pledis Entertainment. And, I knew about them joining you guys cause there had been rumors about Pledis idols joining Diamond entertainment" Changkyun stated

The two remained quiet which Changkyun noticed and looked at them confusingly.

"I know that there's something else going on so why don't we just get to the point" He said which made the two avoid eye contact from the younger.

Changkyun crossed his arms and waited for their response. Seungcheol breathed in and out then said "it's just that...a lot have changed ever since we last saw them...and the part when they denied that we were their exes...really just hurted us..."
