~chapter 19~

Today was the day we all said goodbye for the summer. I was very bummed but at the same time i could use a break from everything, classes were super stressful this year.

I woke up in Draco's arms and carefully slipped out trying not to wake him. I needed to pack my bags, i was a tad bit behind on that.

It was 8 am and the train left at 11 so i had plenty of time.

It didn't take me very long to pack, i finished at around 9, Draco was still fast asleep in my bed.

"Draco, Draco" i say shaking him slightly to try and wake him up.

Out of no where he grabs ahold of my waist and pulls me down onto the bed. "Are you packed to leave" i say as he wraps his arms around my waist pulling me closer to him.

"yeah" he mumbles closing his eyes once again. I must have fallen asleep again because it was Draco this time shaking me to wake me up.

"It's 10:30 we gotta go to the train station." he says as i jump out of bed quickly grabbing my bags.

Once Draco went back to his dorm to grab his bags we left together to go to the train station. Ava was already there waiting for me. Pansy as well as everyone else in our friend group was also waiting for us.

"I guess we're a little late" i whisper to Draco as we walk up to them.

"Come on let's get on the train" Mattheo says being the first one to walk in. Mattheo likes to get the best seat on the train so he always has to be first.

My sister said her goodbye to me and left to go sit with her friends and i went to sit in the compartment with Draco next to me and Mattheo next to Draco. On the other side was Aria, Theo and Pansy. Liza was in the shuffle puff section sitting with Cedric.

"So Pansy what are you gonna do this summer" i say.

"Oh you know, drink, fuck bitches, sleep" she says laughing.

"Sounds like a plan, can i join" Theo says turning towards her smiling.

"Of course you can" she says as we all laughed. Suddenly i felt Draco's large cold hands gliding up my thigh, i gasped at the sudden coldness and contact. Draco must have noticed because i looked over and he was smirking.

Draco kept his hand on my thigh the remainder of the train ride. I fell asleep for about 30 minutes of the train ride. When we arrived, Draco had to wake me up.

Once everyone got off the train we all said our goodbyes. Draco gave me a long hug and a kiss on the forehead. "I'll see you soon darling, i'll come visit you ok"

"mhm" i say hugging him one last time. Then i was off to spot my sister. Once i found her we both apparated to our house. We opened the door to a very happy Marina

"Marina!, we've missed you so much" i say giving her a hug.

"Aw i've missed you guys as well."

"Where's our parents?"

"They went out into Diagon Alley a while ago. They should be back any time"

"Alright, Thanks Marina. I'm going up to my bedroom to unpack." i say grabbing my bags and walking up to my bedroom.

I had a thought deep in my mind that my parents were out getting me a birthday present. My birthday was about 2 weeks from now, but i don't know why they would get one so early.

Once i finished unpacking my parents arrived home.

"Hello mother, Hello father." i say as i walk over to my mom to give her a hug.

"Welcome home darling."

Once my sister came downstairs she also said her hellos to our parents, then it was time to eat dinner. We were having my least favorite food, roast. My sister on the other hand loved it, we really were polar opposites.

"So how do you guys think you did on the final exams." my mother says trying to start a conversation since no one was talking.

"I think i did amazing." my sister says. That didn't surprise me, she was in Ravenclaw after all.

"How about you Paris."

"I think i did good too."

"You know we expect an Outstanding or an Exceeds Expectations" my father says, making this the first thing he has said to me all night.

"Yes father." i said. They never question my sister about my grades. It's always me.

"I actually wanted to talk to you guys about something." i say figuring this is the time to bring up me seeing them at the shack.

"So, awhile ago i saw you guys and The Malfoy's going into the shrieking shack." i say putting down my fork. By the way Draco reacted when i brought it up, i was nervous.

"That is none of your business Paris." My father says not looking up from his plate.

"But i just want to know what it was about, it looked like a meeting of some sort." i say raising my voice a bit.

"I said thats none of your business." he says slamming the table staring sternly looking into my eyes.

"Honey, theres just some things you shouldn't get involved with ok?" my mother says.

Weird. That was the same advice Draco gave me. There was definitely something going on and i was going to find out sooner or later.

When everyone finished eating, i said goodnight. I still had some things to unpack, and was super tired.

When i got back to my room an owl flew through the window. I recognized it, it was Draco's owl with a letter.

Once i grabbed the letter, his owl flew off and i opened the letter.

I miss you already love. I have a birthday surprise for you. I'll see you soon. ~D.M

I smiled at his letter then pulled out some paper so i can write back.

I miss you too but, I don't know if i can wait that long, 2 weeks is a long time.

I sealed the letter and gave it to my owl to deliever.

I couldn't sleep that night. My first night home, and without Draco. I just kept thinking about him hoping it would slowly ease me to sleep, and it did.

Never in a million years would i think, thinking about Draco Malfoy would put me to sleep.
