~chapter 25~

"We need a plan" Harry says as we all sit in the Great Hall at breakfast.

Draco didn't know we were all here but he left again this morning without saying anything so quite literally i did not care.

"Why don't we just ask him for it." Ron says

"Because then he definitely won't give it to you. He will know something weird is going on." Hermione says giving him a glare. She tends to snap at him a lot, when really i think she snaps at him just because she likes him. She hides her feelings very well.

"We should see how he reacts if we say the same thing Voldemor-"

"Don't say that name Paris" Ron says glaring at me.

"Sorry Ron, we should see how he reacts if we say that same thing as you know who."

"Actually that could be a good idea. We could see what he thinks of it, if he remembers and possibly he will give us the same reaction" Hermione says getting excited.

"When should we do it." i ask the three of them.

"Me and Paris will go today after class with him. The sooner the better." Harry says looking at all of us.

"I'll meet you after class Harry, bye guys." i say getting up and leaving to head to my first class which was Defense Against the Dark Arts with Snape.

When i got there i noticed Draco was not here yet. It took about 15 minutes for him to show up.

"Mister Malfoy, take a seat." Snape says as Draco finally arrives. It was odd. Snape would always yell at anyone, any chance he got but with Draco he let him go like it was nothing.

Class with Snape was the same as always, Boring and filled with people who didn't pay attention and Snape yelling at everyone.

After i attended the rest of my classes on my way to meet Harry i overhead a few Slytherin girls mentioning a party tonight in the common room. Pansy had never mentioned anything lately about planning a party but i would ask her about it after our 'confrontation' with Slughorn.

Me and Harry both entered Slughorns room at the same time. I let Harry do the talking since i trusted him a bit more than myself.

"Harry, Paris what a pleasure, come in come in" he says waving his hand toward us. "What can i do for you two."

"Well sir the other day we were in the library in the restricted section and we came across something rather odd about a very rare piece of magic it just got us wondering are there some kinds of magic your not allowed to teach us."

"Harry i think your question better be posed to Professor Snape." Professor Slughorn stated.

"Well we don't exactly see eye to eye" i stepped in saying.

"What we mean to say is he's not like you, he might misunderstand." Harry says

"Yes, no light without a dark. so it is with magic, myself i who strive to live it in the light. I suggest you two do the same."

"Is that what you told Tom Riddle. When he came asking questions." Harry says speaking up a bit. I looked over at him with wide eyes, shocked. He wasn't supposed to give it up that easily.

"Dumbledore put you up to this didn't he" Slughorn says to both of us. "Didn't he" he says once again but this time raising his voice at us , then exited his classroom.

Soon after me and Harry exited as well.

"Well that was a bust." i say looking at Harry. "Now what are we going to do. He knows something is wrong"
