I roll off my bed "not a good way to start my morning" I say to myself
I hear footsteps coming towards my room "time to change back" I say to myself shifting back to a human
Molly comes in my room "morning James how are you?" molly says
"I would be better if I didn't roll off my bed how about you" I say
"I'm great I got a good night sleep and I'm feeling good" molly says
"Lucky you" I say
"Anyways I'm going to be gone all day you can handle being home alone right" molly says
"Yea I can where are you going?" I say
"Work stuff you know" molly says
"Yea I know" I say
"Well see you later tonight" molly says leaving my room
"Sweet i get to have the house to myself all day time to experiment with my abilities" i say to myself
I get a text from jack "hey man you down to hang today?"
"Nah sorry I got some stuff to do today" I text back
"Alright I'll text you later" jack texts
I get off the ground "alright time to have some fun" I say to myself
I walk to the backyard "right now it's time to see if I can fly" I say to myself shifting into a dragon
I start pumping my wings and i get a couple feet in the air "this is so cool now let's see if I breath fire" I say to myself landing on the ground I focus on heating up my stomach and a line of fire comes out through my mouth and the fire starts spreading "oh man not good molly is going to kill me if she sees this" I say to myself trying to put out the fire
I put out the fire in a few minutes "man I did not expect that to happen" I think to myself
"Well I see that you're trying out your powers" someone says behind me
I turn around and I see my future self "hey I don't know what to call you" I say
"Well just call me whatever is remotely close to my name"
"Alright I'll call you James 2" I say
"Really that's the best name you can come up with?" James 2 says
"Yea anyways what are you doing here" I say
"Well I can't say much but shapeshifting is not your only power" James 2 says
"Really what is it?" I say
"I don't know you'll find out eventually anyways I got to go see you around" James 2 says going through a portal
"Well that was interesting" I say to myself
James 2 comes out the portal "I need to tell you one more thing" James 2 says
"What is it" I say
"Well I found out that Carl has a hidden lab somewhere in a forest somewhere" James 2 says
"Really?" I say
"Yea but I don't know exactly where but if you find it you may find out a bunch information about your new power or something anyways now I'm leaving" James 2 says going back through the portal
"My dad has another lab that may give me answers I'm looking for sweet" I say to myself shifting back to a human
I get a text from an unknown number "James carter I know your little secret meet me at the abandoned movie theater in an hour bring no one"
"Who is this how do you know my name?" I text back
"Doesn't matter who I am just meet me or else" he texts back
"Alright I'll be there" I text back
"Good see you soon" he texts back
I start walking towards the abandoned movie theater "I have a bad feeling about this" I think to myself
I arrive at the theater and i go inside "I'm surprised this place is still standing after all these years" I say to myself
"You arrived early I'm surprised" someone says walking towards me
"Alright man you better tell me who you are" I say
"You seriously don't recognize me I'm hurt"
"No I don't can you remind me" I say
"5 years ago lab explosion sound familiar?"
"Yea but how would yo- no impossible dad you're alive how?" I say
"Well let's just say I made a deal with the devil" Carl says
"What do you mean by that?" I say
"I can only stay here for a certain time before I go back" Carl says
"Go back to where?" I say
"I can't tell you" Carl says
"Also how did you get my number?" I say
"I remembered it" Carl says
"Well how can I get you to stay permanently" I say
"Well you have to time travel back before I died and save me from my mistake" Carl says
"Jesus why is it always me that has to save people" I say
"Well since you met your future self from a different timeline there's a bunch of timelines that got opened up" Carl says
"Oh man this is a lot to take in" I say
"I know it's a ton of stuff for you to take care of but you can do this you're the only hope to restore the other timelines" Carl says
"So what do I have to do to fix everything?" I say
"Well you have to jump from timeline to timeline and stop certain events from happening" Carl says
"How I don't know nothing about time travel" I say
"Go to my hidden lab it's in a forest somewhere Now you can't tell anyone about this you have to do this on your own" Carl says
"Like i didn't have enough to deal with and why Can't I tell anyone?" I say
"It might really mess up time also take this" Carl says handing me a bracelet
"The hell is this bracelet for" i say
"When you time travel that bracelet will protect your memories I got to go good luck James" Carl says fading away
I put on the bracelet "I will admit I like this bracelet" I say to myself
I start walking home "I have to fix a bunch of timelines Jesus I thought future me had it tough this is worse man this sucks" I say to myself
I arrive home and i get a text from jack "hey man I just wanted to check on you how you doing"
"Im very stressed out" I text back
"What's going on?" jack texts
"I just got a lot on my mind" I text
"You want to talk about it?" jack texts
"No I just want to sleep" I text
"Alright see you tomorrow" jack texts
I walk to my room and i lay on my bed "I'm tired time for some Sleep" I say to myself falling asleep
