Ch.4 (rewritten)

3 years later

I wake up quickly "holy Crap I can't believe I just remembered all that" I say to myself

"James you good you woke up really fast" jack says

"No I'm not" I say

"What's wrong" jack says

"Well firstly I met my future self and my dad told me a bunch of things about how there is a hidden lab somewhere in a forest and different timelines and a bunch of other things" I say

"Hold on what you're saying that time travel exists" jack says

"Yea and i have to go back in time a bunch to fix the other timelines to make everything normal again well relatively normal" I say

"So you have to fix a bunch of timelines by yourself?" jack says

"Yea I know I sound crazy and also I have another power I don't know what it is but I want to find out" I say

"Wow that's crazy" jack says

"I want to ask will you help me?" I say

"Yea of course that's what best friends are for" jack says

"Thanks man now you want to spend all day looking for the lab" I say

"Yea there's nothing better to do at this camp" jack says

Me and jack leave our tent and we start walking towards the forest "alright you sure you still want to help me?" I say

"Yea I do" jack says

"Alright if it's too much you can back out no drama" I say

We walk around the forest for a few hours and i find a metal door with a ton of moss on it "I think we found it" jack says

"Yea let's go inside" I say taking the moss off the door

"Well open it" jack says

I open the door and we go inside and the lights automatically turn on "I can't believe the lights still turn on after all this time alright start looking around for anything important" i say

"Got it" jack says going to one of the tables and he starts looking around

I find a computer and i turn it on "damn I need a password what would the password be?" I say to myself

I put in the password "password" and the computer unlocks "wow my dad is a super smart scientist and he chose password as his password that's just dumb" I say to myself

I look through the computer and i find a recording of my dad and I play it "James if you are listening to this you already know about your shapeshifting ability now you need to know about your second ability you can time travel all you have to do is hold out your arm and think of the time you want to go back to I know you might not believe me but it's true I need you to go back before I died to stop myself from dying from the lab explosion also I need to mention one more thing looks for two people named Kyle and Sebastian they will tell you everything you need to do to fix everything good luck James"

Jack walks to me "what did you find out?" jack says

"I found out a lot that I can time travel and I have to look for two people named Kyle and Sebastian and I have to go back in time to save my dad from dying" I say

"That's insane I'll help where I can how do you do it?" jack says

"I just have to think of a time I want to go to and I hold my arm out" I say

"Sounds cool we have to try this" jack says

"I don't know it could be dangerous" I say

"True but we'll try it later alright" jack says

"Yea we will and it's going to be awesome to be able to save my dad and spend more time with him" I say

"Sounds nice well let's bail before something bad happens" jack says

We leave the lab and we start walking back to our tent "I can't believe I just found all of this out about myself" I say

"This is crazy my best friend is a shapeshifter and a time master cool" jack says

"Yea but I don't know much about my time travel power" I say

"We have to at least try it out to make sure it works" jack says

"Fine we will i don't know what will happen after we go to a different time just be ready for anything" I say

"I'm sure it'll be fine" jack says

"Well alright then how far should we go back" I say

"I want to go back to the time where we first met" jack says

"Alright are you sure I'm not really sure what's going to happen" I say

"Yea I'm sure" jack says

We arrive back at our tent and we go inside "so before we do this is there anything else you want to do before I do this?" I say

"No I don't let's do this" jack says

"Alright here we go" I say thinking of the day I met jack and I hold my right arm out

Jack grabs my left hand "this is so exciting" jack says

My arm starts glowing "oh that's new" I say

"Well if I remember everything once we go back we have to meet up as soon as possible" jack says

"Yea I know" I say

My arm starts glowing really brightly and everything fades to black
