The Game

The bell. Right after the 3rd graders ate lunch the bell would ring and they'd go to the hall and sit. After everyone in the cafeteria got to the hall and sat down, which usually took only a minute, it was time to head out to recess. She walked out next to her two best friends. They always played together. Most of the time they just ran around on the playground stuff, but sometimes they would get the swings. The swings were the most popular.

Today though, it was the playground. As they ran to the monkey bars, she got an idea. She had started a show called "H2O Just Add Water", and really enjoyed it. She decided to share it with her friends, but in a game form.

"Hey guys! Have I ever told you that I can move water with my mind?" Of course she was joking, and she knew her friends knew. She giggled and her friends decided to play along. The three of them started coming up with all kinds of powers they had. Pretty soon they just had so many, they could hardly keep track!

This became almost like a sort of recess life for the three. They played this game every recess until 6th grade, when they started middle school. Sometimes, one of her other friends would play too! Eventually, in 5th grade, three of her friend's friends started playing the game also. That was when they started playing in the field.

Of course it all went wrong eventually, but that's another memory.
