Davina Stallard was in shock. She was in shock of what happened less than just six hours ago. Her mind was racing through what had happened and what was going to happen next. She knew that what she did will not be ignored, certainly not this time. As Davina replayed exactly what happened, for about the hundredth time in a row, she couldn't help but feel all guilty. It was most certainly her fault and she did not know what to do about it. She was new to all this, especially her own powers.
Rumlow activates his bomb vest and Steve flinches as Rumlow's armor ignites, but with Wanda whispering in Davina's ear that she could do it as they practiced back in the compound, Davina keeps the blast contained around Rumlow who grimaces in agony.
Davina began to get angry even more, as she lifts Rumlow into the air and pushing him into the office buildings while maintaining to add more fire within the blast contained around Rumlow. The explosion finally blossoms, devastating entire floors of a nearby office building. Davina came to a full realization of what happened and covers her mouth in shock and scarred by it. Wanda looked at Davina and gave the girl a hug and rubbing her arms, in hope of some comfort. Steve turned around and looked at the building, which was now not in a very good shape.
"Oh my..." Steve mutters to himself as he pressed onto his earpiece, "Sam...we need...fire and rescue...on the south side of the building." Steve said and Wanda was hugging Davina, an attempt to calm the girl down. Davina looked at Steve and tears were flowing down her cheek.
"I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry." Davina said and Steve gave her a small sad smile with tears glistening in his eyes. Steve knew that Davina did not mean any of this, but the fact that it's scarring her and she is upset by what happened, said more than enough. Davina could not stop crying as she was now responsible for the accident.
"Wanda, take her back to the car. We have to leave." Steve mentioned to Wanda and Wanda nodded her head.
Davina was so distraught by what she had done, that half way on moving away from the building, Davina fainted causing Wanda to scream. Wanda's scream grabbed Steve's attention, as Steve sprinted to where Davina had fell and Natasha brought the car back with Sam in the car.
"She'll be okay, don't worry. Go explain to Natasha and Sam. Our job here is done today." Steve mentioned and Wanda nodded her head. Steve gently stroked Davina's hair for a split moment. Putting his shield on the back of his suit, Steve then picked up Davina's unconscious body, bridal style and headed back to the car.
Steve gently laid her body on the car seats as Wanda cranked up the AC and Sam gave Steve a water bottle, all while Natasha was driving. Steve noticed Davina's stain tears that are still wet on her cheeks. Frowning, Steve took off his helmet, shoving it on the side of the car.
This mission was a total fail and a disaster. There was just no way that the government would let this go now, just no way and Steve knew that.
