Fallin' TWELVE

"Where is Addie?", Gene asked the helper of his parents house.

"Nako sir nandoon po sa loob ng kwarto niya", ang sagot naman ng isa sa mga katulong.

He hurriedly walk to her sister's room.

He knocks on the door.

"I don't need anyone", Addie said from her room.

"It is kuya"

Pagkasabing pagkasabi ni Gene ay agad na binuksan ni Addie ang pintuan ng kwarto niya.

Naiyak si Addie na yumakap sa kaniya.

"What happened?", he asked.

Hindi sumagot si Addie pero hinila siya nito papasok sa kwarto nito at isinarado ang pinto.

Pinunasan ni Addie ang mga luha niya at tumingin ng maigi sa kuya niya.

"What happened to your face?", she asked.

"Just got knock", he said.

"Anong knock? Who did it to you?", nag aalalang tanong niya.

"Just some soulless animals", his answer.

"Who took care of your bruises?", muling tanong ni Addie.

Mag aalala lalo si Addie kapag hindi sinagot ni Gene ang lahat ng tanong nito.

"Ren", he simply answered.

Nanlaki ang mga mata ni Addie.

"Who is Ren? Don't tell me it is Ren Flores? The Ren Skye Flores I know?", she excitedly said while her eyes widen.

"Yeah", Gene simply answered.

Addie's eyes widened even more because of his older brother's answer.

Gene didn't know that Addie's eyes could get even bigger just because of his answer.

May nakakabigla ba sa sagot ko?, ang tanong ni Gene sa sarili.

"Why are you crying a while ago?", Gene shifted their topic to Addie's issue bago pa ito makapagtanong ng kung ano ano dahil alam ni Gene na wala siyang maisasagot.

Then Addie's face from lively and excited became sad and because of that reaction of addie's face, gene's jaw suddenly tightened.

She doesn't want anyone that he loves, to be this sad.

Addie is a cheerful highschool student who wants to always play around even if she is too old for that.

That's why Gene can't control his anger.

"Who hurt you?", Gene asked his sister as his voice was in an angry tone.

"No kuya, I just want to see you. Nothing else", Addie said.

Ayaw sumagot ni Addie sa tanong ni Gene dahil kilala niya ang kapatid niya.

At hindi niya talaga kaya na sabihin kung sino ang dahilan ng kalungkutan niya ngayon. Mahirap na at baka magkagulo pa.

Ngayon ay pinagsisisihan na ni Addie kung bakit niya pa tinawagan ang kuya niya. Pero wala naman siyang ibang kakampi kundi ito lang.

Hindi man sila lumaki ng sabay ay mahal na mahal siya nito at ganoon din siya rito.

"Addie", ang pagtawag ni Gene sa pangalan ng kapatid sa maawtoridad na tono.

Yumuko lang ang ulo ni Addie.

"Look at me. What happened? answer me", Gene's command.

Addie took a deep breath before looking into his older brother's eyes.
