A/N: This was a bit rushed so it might feel a bit sloppy. Sorry in advance!
The two boarded on the bus. Chanhee walked to the back and stood as he held onto the handle above. Haknyeon scooted beside him, almost squishing into Chanhee. The bus wasn't that crowded. It was the usual evening rush.
Chanhee froze when he felt a hand brush against his hand. He peeked down to see Haknyeon's free hand hovering beside his. He looked back up to see Haknyeon staring outside the window absentmindedly.
Was he just imagining things? Chanhee shrugged it off. He rummaged through his bag to get his phone and earphones out. The bus pulled to a halt suddenly and Chanhee stumbled back.
A strong arm caught him around his waist and Chanhee fell into Haknyeon's chest. Chanhee froze again. He slowly looked up to see Haknyeon staring at him in surprise.
"Are you okay, hyung?" He asked.
"Peachy." He answered and shot back up.
He awkwardly fumbled with his earphones and glanced at Haknyeon. He could definitely see the younger was a sports kind of guy. The catch earlier also let Chanhee feel some of the.......... firmness.
"You got a strong grip." Chanhee commented.
"Well, I need to. There's a really clumsy guy who lives next door and I always end up having to help him." Haknyeon grinned.
Chanhee nodded before realizing Haknyeon was talking about him. He glared at him with a frown making Haknyeon giggle. Chanhee rolled his eyes and plugged in his earphones and started listening to his playlist he had made on the way to the bus stop.
Chanhee felt a tap on his hand and he turned to his side. Haknyeon pouted and pointed at Chanhee's phone then at his ear. Chanhee held up his phone, not understanding what Haknyeon wanted to say.
Haknyeon sighed, rolling his eyes in frustration. He hooked a hand around Chanhee (much to his surprise) and took out the earphone on his other side. Chanhee watched in confusion as Haknyeon plugged the earphone into his ear and smiled at Chanhee.
"You don't expect me to just stand without music or a partner to talk, do you?" Haknyeon said with a pout.
".....No?"
Haknyeon smiled and turned to the front again. Chanhee turned away as well, not knowing how to react. After a few stops, some passengers got off and there were empty seats. Haknyeon tapped Chanhee and nudged his head at a couple of empty ones behind them.
Chanhee smiled happily and followed Haknyeon to the seats. He sat down and let out a sigh of comfort. Haknyeon glanced at him and put his sports bag on his other side, slumping down a little.
"Hyung, you can rest if you want. I can wake you up when we arrive." He said, patting at his shoulder.
"It's fine. It's just a few more stops so I can-" Chanhee interrupted himself with a yawn.
Haknyeon took the chance and poked a finger into Chanhee's mouth at that moment. Chanhee accidentally bit down on Haknyeon's finger. Both of them yelped out in surprise.
"Why'd you do that?" Chanhee cried.
"I don't know! It's an automatic reflex!" Haknyeon cried back.
"Sorry for that." Chanhee pointed at his finger, "But you deserve it." He chuckled.
"Hyung, you're mean." Haknyeon sulked.
Chanhee shook his head and turned his head to the front. Slowly, the music lulled him to sleep. Chanhee's head bopped left and right as he dozed off. Haknyeon stared at him in amusement. Smiling to himself, he gently pushed Chanhee's head onto his shoulder.
