The Newest Avenger, Book 1

Chapter 3. Warm Welcome

I got woken up by someone shaking me and gasped for air as the images seemed to slow down to eventually reveal my surroundings

I saw a blurry picture of man in a red steel suit and a guy in an American flag suit who was holding a shield

I recognized them from lessons about the outside world and know them as none other than Iron man and Captain America

"Don't move" Iron man told me

The only alien which survived was the leader and he did not looked human now so we were good

"You're human, flying an alien aircraft" iron man continued

"Explain" he said

I tried mind reading iron man but I think my powers were a little all over the place as images were still flashing through my mind

"We had to make an emergency landing" the alien leader said

"What's up with him?" He asked about me

I looked at the small army surrounding us and images of what everyone around me was going through went through my mind

I felt my body drop to my knees and energy leaving my body

"Woah woah woah" Iron man said aiming at me

I grabbed the ground and felt every little molecule on earth as my eyes rolled back into my head

The situation escalated and I guess there was something about me that made the small army fire at me

I heard guns fire and the second a bullet hit me I zoned back in and could see perfectly clear so I stood up quickly , dodging any other bullets that were fired at me

As a reflex I pulled down some trees onto the army and iron man was coming at me now

I made the air around him guide him down and it slammed him into the ground before I bent the earth around him to hold him down

Captain America threw his shield at me which I stopped mid air and threw back at him with at least twice the speed

I made the rest of the army sink down into the ground before they could shoot at me again and avoided iron mans beam afterward

I jumped towards him and mad the iron of his suit melt down before captain America jumped up from behind

He punched me on the cheek and gave I him the hardest head bump I could

I then kicked his stomach as hard as I could making him fly away with the help of my new powers

I quickly turned to iron man who flew right into my stomach and focused on getting into his head

Seeing his worst fears I focused on making him see them and as he let me go I knew it worked

Iron man flew right into the illusion I had personally created for him and captain America was yelling at him in an attempt to get through to him

He threw his shield at me again and I bent over backwards avoiding it before pulling it back aiming for his head

"Woah!" He said barely dodging it

"Bring it on big guy" I said and he started running towards me

I remembered seeing images of teleportation in an aliens mind and wanted to try it out

I concentrated on me going behind captain America so he would run into nothing and teleported behind him just in time

As he stumbled and fell to the ground I bent the earth Around him, trapping him before looking at Iron man who I still had trapped in the illusion
