Jacks POV
It was day 4 of being capture in the avengers tower and so far I have discovered that every night at around 1 am, the electricity and energy levels of this building drop
I have also learned that it is a real problem because I heard Tony and fury talk about it
So tonight is the night that I will escape and until then I'll pretend like nothing is wrong and like I'm having the time of my life in this cell
"Good afternoon Mr Bellincioni" fury said as he walked by
"Good afternoon" I nodded
"A scientist passed away last night" fury claimed
"Okay?" I asked
"He was hungry for power and thought it'd be a great idea to take some of the separated quaminy and inject it into his body"
"This is what we walked in on" fury said as he showed me a picture of a malformed, melted and mutated body laying on the ground of the science lab
"I'm aware of what it can do to someone's body" I said with a frown because I still hadn't figured out the point he was trying to make by showing me these pictures
"I'd just make sure it's a close casket if I were you" I chuckled
"Not the point I'm trying to make" he said
"Point I am trying to make is that we want to know why this did not happen to you" he said
"If that's why you're keeping me locked up, that's pretty unfair" I said
"We are keeping you here so you don't destroy another village" he explained
"Anything else you wanna discuss with me?" I asked
"Not now no" he said
"Enjoy your day Mr Bellincioni" he said
"I will" I said
"I've got your lunch" A doctor came up to me
I also found out that when they use the little tunnel for feeding me, the door on my side breaks seal and so I've been quietly giving simple commands to one of the engineers to weaken a spot in the roof of this cell
The doctor opened the first door and I thought about the engineer and the simple command of weakening the cell
As I zoned back in, the doctor was gone and the food at my side of the glass
"Thanks doc" I murmured as I sat down at the table
Shield really hasn't been treating me badly, but I'm really focused on getting out of this to start my missions
"Hey Jack" Steve said
"Steve" I nodded at him as the engineer who I was controlling came over too
"Got a notification of some failures in the cell, I'm here to fix those" he lied and walked right through the security
"How are you?" Steve asked with a small smile
"I'm good, still a little claustrophobic, but I'll be fine"
"How are you?" I asked
"Yeah I'm good" he said
