You arrived back at the compound, lightheaded and woozy from the rush of magic.

"Y/N!" You heard Tony's voice and felt his arms around you. "You gave us quite a scare kid. Are you alright?" You could hear the unspoken question in his voice. The stone.

Holding out you hand, you showed him the glowing yellow stone in the palm of your hand.

"Oh my god. What did you do."

You didn't get to tell him that part, because everything went black.

When you finally woke up again, you were dizzy and tired. The bright lights made your eyes hurt. "Am I in Hell?" You managed to mutter.

"No kid, your very much alive." You turned you head to see Tony sitting next to your bed, looking concerned. "Nat and Clint told up what happened. How are you still here?"

"I remembered all the conversations me and Loki used to have about time travel." You said, closing your eyes and blocking out the light. "We came to the conclusion that is was possible, but it was too dangerous to try." You forced out a laugh. "But here we are."

"Where did you go? Clint said the Soul Stone needed a sacrifice."

You smiled and sat up, magic recharged from your unconscious state. "That it did Tony, that it did."

"Just get to the point." Tony rolled his eyes.

"I went forward to when Thanos sacrificed Gamora.  We were right, you need to sacrifice the one you love, a soul for a soul, as the creepy ghost dude put it. I was invisible, and blocked my mind off so his telepathic thug didn't notice me. While he was talking to his goons I plucked it right out of his gauntlet. I knew that if he did, I could send the stone back to the future anyway."

Tony looked shocked. "Why?" He managed to get out. "Why did you risk your safety like that?"

You sighed. "Clint has a family. They need him. I know how they'd feel. I promised Steve that I would protect Nat, so that's what I did."

Tony seemed to get over his shock and pulled you into a hug. "Don't ever do that again. Ever." He growled in your ear.

You were slightly shocked, considering Tony wasn't a hug kind of person. "Yes Iron dad."

~~~~
The new gauntlet was lying on the table. All the stones were in it. The gauntlet resembled the arm of Tony's Iron Man suit. You couldn't take you eyes off it, the light glinting off the stones, making them sparkle.
The team were arguing over who would be the one to snap their fingers.
Thor stepped forward. "I'll do it."
"Excuse me?" Scott's eyes widened.
"It's okay." Thor tried to put of the gauntlet.
The team immediately held him back. "No, no, no, whoa." "Stop. Stop." "Wait a sec. Hey, hey–"
"Wait, wait, Thor, just wait. We haven't decided who's gonna put that on yet." Steve said firmly.
"I'm sorry. What, we're just sitting around waiting for the right opportunity?" Thor grumbled.
"We should at least discuss it." Scott reasoned.
You sighed. "Thor, seriously, this is about more than your pride. Listen to me, please."
"No, no, sitting here staring at that thing is not gonna bring everybody back. I'm the strongest Avenger, okay? So this responsibility falls upon me. It's my duty." Thor tried to shake everyone off him.
"Thor, c'mon," You plant yourself in front of you.
Tony rolled his eyes. "Look– It's not just the fact that that glove is channeling enough energy to light up a continent, I'm telling you, you're in no condition."
"What do you– What do you think is coursing through my veins right now?" Thor asked.
"Cheez Whiz?" Rhodey piped up and you snorted.
"Lightning."
"Thor, I know being Asgardian makes you stronger, and that why it needs to be me." You said seriously.
"Asgardian powers won't help you, pal. It's gotta be me." Bruce sighed. "You saw what those stones did to Thanos. It almost killed him. None of you could survive."
"How do we know you will?" Steve folded his arms.
"We don't. But the radiation's mostly gamma." Bruce stares at the gauntlet intently. "It's like...I was made for this."
You were seriously beginning to understand Thor's thoughts. "Bruce, are you sure? I can-"
"Let's do it." He said instantly.
"You remember– everyone Thanos snapped away five years ago and just bringing them back to now, today. Don't change anything from the last five years." Tony reminded him.
Bruce nodded "Got it."
You all back a save distance away. Tony activates his suit and a shield to cover Clint and Nat. Scott clicks on his helmet, and Rhodey resumes a battle stance in the War Machine. You use your Asgardian magic to shield yourself, Rocket and Thor. None of you notice Nebula's absence.
"F.R.I.D.A.Y., do me a favor and activate Barn Door Protocol. Will you?" Tony calls out to the compound's A.I.
"Yes, boss." Says the feminine voice.
The compound locks down and shutters cover the windows.
"Everybody comes home." Bruce mutters, and slipped on the gauntlet, which widens to fit his massive hand. Immediately, the stones start to glow and consume the green man's arm. Bruce lets out a cry of pain.
"Take it off! Take it off!" Thor cries frantically.
Steve holds up an arm. "No, wait. Bruce, are you okay?"
"Talk to me, Banner." Tony says.
"I'm okay. I'm okay." Bruce manages to grunt through clenched teeth.
You send him a confident smile. "Your doing great Bruce."
Thor hold up two thumbs, in awe from the massive amount of power in front of him.
Bruce lets out a loud yell, struggling to move through the pain. He snaps his fingers, falling to the floor, gauntlet sliding off. Clint kicks it away, and Tony sprays Bruce's burnt arm with a cool disinfectant. You let down your shield.
"Bruce!" Steve kneels next to his friend, who is regaining consiousness.
"Don't move him." Tony commands.
Bruce gasps. "Did it work?"
"Worth a shot. It's over. It's okay." Thor reassures him.
You take a deep breath, closing your eyes and opening your mind. "Loki?"
A few seconds pass with no response, and you are about to call again when you hear a faint call.
"Y/n?"
You fall to the floor in relief, letting out a laugh.
"Y/n? Are you alright?" Thor is immediately by your side.
"It worked! Bruce, it worked!" A few tears of disbelief fall down your cheeks.
Bruce smiles through his obvious pain.
"Guys-" Scott's sudden warning is interrupted by a huge impact, and everything goes black, again.
