(This is where the story was originally going to start)

I curse myself for hubris and ignorance. The colony was falling apart and the situation was going downhill very fast. Zombies were flowing through the two block gap in the walls and the guards were only guarding the front gate. Bodies were collapsing left and right. I whipped out my bow and started to launch a large amount of arrows at the invaders. However, with each zombie I shot down, two more came to replace it.

My attempts to subdue the invasion so far was futile. Thus, i concluded my first goal was to repair my mistake. I swam down and quickly started to replace all the blocks that I had forgotten to for so long. As I heard more screams coming from the surface, I hastened my pace. After the last block was placed and the stream of zombies was abruptly ended, I had to eliminate the remaining zombies inside the walls. For that, a bow would be the ideal weapon.

Zombies were swarming the inner walls fast, and many were slowly making their way down to the colonists bed area. I started firing mountains of arrows at the unwelcome beasts. After a good amount of time, the last zombie's head was taken off by an arrow. I looked around and surveyed the damage my careless error had caused.

Things looked bad...

It was not nearly as bad as the first invasion, It was twenty times as bad. There were barely any moving bodies and the only ones that were were the the ones leaving for work as the sun rose. I fell to my knees and cried for the rest of the day.
