Chapter 8: Here Comes The Sports Festival!

I sat silently in the room with everyone talking about USJ incident.

"Everyone! Homeroom is about to start! Stop talking and take your seats!" Iida announce, standing in front of the class.

"We're already in our seats."

"You're the only one who's not." Sero points out, Iida shamefully sat down to his seat with Uraraka telling me 'don't worry about it'.

"I wonder who's gonna teach homeroom today?" I hear Ashido asks, the door slides open revealing our homeroom teacher.

"Morning." Aizawa mumbles through the bandages on his face.

"Aizawa-sensei, you're back too soon!" Everyone except Todoroki, Bakugou and I exclaims.

"You're too much of a pro!" Kaminari added as Iida raises his hand.

"So you're all right, Sensei?" Iida asks while Aizawa walks in.

"Can you really call that "all right"?" Uraraka whispered

"My well-being doesn't matter."

"It does to us. Sensei you're not just our teacher, you're like our second parent. So your well-being matter to us." I stated as the others agreed with me.

"Alright. More importantly, the fight is not yet over." Aizawa says as everyone had various reaction.

"The UA sports festival is drawing near." the whole class cheered after Aizawa said.

"That's a super normal school event!" My eyes widen at the announcement of UA sports festival. Kirishima cheered but stopped by Kaminari.

"Is it okay to have a sports festival so soon after the villains snuck inside?" Jirou asked

"What if they attack us again or something?" Ojiro added.

"Apparently, they think of it as UA showing that our crisis management system is solid as rock by holding the event. Security will also be strengthened to five times. Above all, our sports festival is a huge chance."

"It's not an event to be cancelled because of a few villains." I muttered, everyone glance at me including Aizawa.

"Exactly." Aizawa agrees before he continue, "Our sports festival is one of Japan's biggest events. In the past, the Olympics were called a festival of sports, and the whole country was crazy about them. Now, what has taken tge place of those Olympics is the UA sports festival."

"All the top heroes around the country will be watching. For scouting purposes!" Yaoyoruzo utter.

"After we graduate, we'll join a pro agency as a sidekick." Kaminari says as Jirou teases Kaminari about becoming eternal sidekick.

"Of course, joining a famous hero agency will get you more experience and popularity. Time is limited. If you expect to go pro, then the path to your future will open up at this event. Don't slack off on your preparations!" Aizawa announced.

"Yes sir!"

"Homeroom is dismissed."

Lunch time, everyone were thrilled about the incoming sports festival and joining the pro agency, completely forgetting about the attack.

"Everyone's into it." I hear Izuku says. I glance at him having a conversation with Iida.

"You're not? We have enrolled here to become heroes, so of course we would get fired up!" Iida says with movements.

"Iida, you have a unique way of getting fired up. It's weird." Tsu bluntly said.

"Midoriya-kun, you don't feel the same?" Iida asks Izuku while doing a hand sign.
