Chapter 2 - Lies

I look up to see Youngk looking at me very worried. "Did you cry because of the locker incident?" He asks me his gaze on my red face. "No, not really I just didn't feel good today," I sigh. The older sits down next to me. "If you need to talk or anything I'm here," he says.

"Thank you, also weren't you with your girlfriend?" I ask him subtly and he looks at me frowning. "What girlfriend?" He asks me confused. 

"Jae said you were spending time with your girlfriend to Sungjin," I mumble.

"I don't have a girlfriend?" he says chuckling, "Is that perhaps why you're upset?" he asks me hesitant for a moment.

"No," I say looking at him for a second and he smiles. 

"It must be the charms of the bassist," he says and I laugh. It fell quiet for a short moment after. "I'm glad I got you to laugh at least, sorry if I made you uncomfortable with my question from a moment ago. I just wanted to distract you. But it's true," he says.

"What's true?" I frown.

"That bassists have a certain charm. You can't resist me," he talks like it's the most obvious thing in the world. "Doesn't the guitarist usually get the girl?" I raise an eyebrow and sit up straight. "We don't talk about that," he says with a serious tone.

I muster up the courage to look at him.  My heart starts to race even faster, his dark brown eyes, perfect skin his beautiful silky brown hair, and his ecstatic laugh make me feel things I never felt before. 

"I have a party tonight you want to come?" he asks me "It might cheer you up. He winks at me teasingly. "I'll be there," I tell him, I hope I can sneak past my parents.

Youngk stands up and I do as well. We stand a but close at is a narrow place. "Do I need to pick you up tonight? It's probably safer and I don't plan on getting drunk, knowing people might break down my house and my parents would kill me," I chuckle. "I would love that, thank you,"

We said goodbye and I was calming myself down when Jae walked around the corner with a smug look on his face. "I knew you liked Youngk, I could see it from miles away, Especially this morning you need to be more careful next time. Also, I wanted to help you since you liked him for so long, Yeji told us." 

I look at him confused. "Did you lie about that girlfriend on purpose Jae, you're such an asshole!"  I shout at him.

"y/n, I only tried to help you. What else were we supposed to do?" Jae says sighing, "Not upsetting me like that! It hurt so much for no reason," I want to stomp away. 

"I'm sorry y/n, genuinely I didn't realize you liked him that much. I thought you were just crushing on him for the past years but now that I said it out loud I realize how stupid that is," Jae sighs and holds his hand on my shoulder and we trip backward because of the force he is holding me back with. 

Jae falls on top of me with a loud thud and his lips are on my neck. We stay still for a short moment with shock and immediately stand up. 

"I'm sorry y/n," Jae stutters out and rushes away. 

I stand outside looking in front of me with shock about what just happened. My clothes muddy and I am so confused I can't put into words what I'm feeling. Am I sad about what Jae did or am I happy? My heart is racing and aching at the same time. 

Okay first things first, I gotta prepare for tonight.

This scene with Jae reminded me of what happened with a friend of mine last week. I wanted to turn off the light of the practice room and he as well so we just bumped against each other and it was that he was way taller than me if not we would have kissed XD Now I just hit my nose against his chest.
