"I'll tell you everything, just let me take you home." Bowden sweetly asked.

Samantha pretended to think about it even though she already knew her answer. She wanted the truth, no more running from it. She wanted it all laid out on the table so she could see exactly what she was dealing with.

A sigh escaped her lips because in all honesty, she was completely tired of the whole situation.

"Okay, lets go." she said quietly.

They both decided that driving her car would be best, that way Matthew could just catch a cab back to get his car later. The usually quick fifteen minutes over to her house was almost torturous, there was nothing but tension and anxiety. No words were spoken. The only thing you could hear was the soft voice of Sam Smith as his album played throughout the car.

Finally, after what felt like five hours, they pulled into her apartment complex. Samantha got out before Bowden tried to open her door. She needed as much space away from him as she possibly could. When Bowden rounded the front the car, they both walked silently to her door.

"Before we enter my house I want you to promise me that you won't lie to me in there. I want the whole truth and nothing but it okay ?" She told him.

She could see the hesitation in his eyes as he went to open his mouth but then thought better of it.

Samantha received a quick nod from Bowden and with that they proceeded to her door. Grabbing her keys out of her coat pocket. She unlocked her door and they went in.

Dropping her keys in the little key bowl on the small side table by the door, Sam took off her coat and kicked off her shoes.

She turned to Bowden, "Would you like a glass of wine? And if so, Red or White? I got a feeling I'm gonna need some for this."

That infamous smirk appeared on his handsome face before it quickly disappeared.

"Sure I'll have Red." He said.

Samantha walked into the kitchen and got out her corkscrew and two wine glasses. She also grabbed some fruit and crackers. She was starving suddenly remembering she hadn't ate yet.

Once she got all her little snacks ready on a small plate, she went to her small wine collection she had sitting in the corner of her cozy kitchen. They were arranged in this cute little wine bottle holder her father made her when she was 21. Her father loved wine just as much as she did. It was something they bonded over.

She looked for a good bottle as she heard footsteps come into the kitchen. She looked up for a second, even though she knew she didn't have to and saw Bowden leaning against the kitchen door watching her intensely.

It was too much emotion in those eyes so she looked away quickly and saw a bottle she thought they both would like. It was a gift from her dad a few years ago, a 2010 Casamatta.

She quickly went to pop the bottle open, busying herself from Bowden. But no matter how much she tried to stay away from him, he always found a way to move closer to her. She felt his presence behind her. His scent filled her nose and she almost moaned at how quickly she felt her panties become wet from her arousal. He did that to her without even putting in effort and that alone scared her. But the conversation they were about to have scared her more, mostly because she didn't know what would be the outcome of them.

She wanted to know but she felt like if she did finally know what Bowden had been keeping from her it would make her stay away from him. And as much as she hated to admit it, she was falling for him. But how could that be when she barely knew him? Sure they spent way too much time together because of the club but what did she know about him that she didn't google? Nothing.

She finished pouring them both a glass and handed Bowden his. Samantha took a generous sip to get her nerves right, once she was sure the liquor was in her system, she handed Bowden his.

"Okay, talk.." Sam said quickly.

"I don't even know where to began honestly, it all started out back when I was young and dumb. I won't go into details by my paths crossed with your father and ever since then I've been in debt to him. A few years ago he had gotten word of his daughter being an dancer at a club and sent me to check it out. I did my research on you and started going to watch you. The more I watched you the more I was intrigued with you. With all the information I had known about you, I couldn't believe someone like you could've chosen that way to pay off school. I had relaid all the information to your father. He told me to get close with you by any means necessary. And I did. But I didn't expect to fall in love with you."

Bowden stared at Samantha with such intensity.

Confused Sam opened and closed her mouth repeatedly, it seems no words could come out.

She stared at him for what felt like an hour as she processed all the information Matthew told her.

Finally she said, "So let me get this straight. You were sent here by the biological father to spy on me, because of some debt you owe to him, but somewhere along the way you've fallen in love with me?"
