It had been a couple days since Samantha last saw Matthew Bowden, and she honestly was glad for that. Ever since that kiss she's been trying to keep him out of her mind but it was no use. He was everywhere for her. In her thoughts, in her dreams, hell, she even thought she saw him in Nightcap one night.

The night he left she decided to do some research of her own. Armed and ready with a pint of Ben and Jerry's Half-Baked ice cream and her MacBook Air and began to search any and everything she could on Matthew Bowden. At first she came across the basics.

Matthew Alexander Bowden Jr., age 25, born and raised in New Jersey. Born to Matthew and Charlotte Bowden. CEO of Bowden Inc. Named Sexiest Man Alive three years in a row. Graduated top of his class from Yale, youngest CEO in the word, etc The lists of his accomplishments just kept going on and on. Matthew Bowden was the definition of a true all American hard working man.

She went on to find out he has had his share of women, ranging from super models to actresses. All beautiful and posh, making her feel insecure and inadequate. Even though she tried to push the bad thoughts away she couldn't help but wonder why out of all the women he knew why'd he pick some random burlesque dancer from Brooklyn? Something wasn't quite adding up but she couldn't put her finger on it. She sure was gonna find out though.

Tired of being a creep and stalking Matthew Bowden on the internet she decided to get some sleep. Sam had class in the morning and she didn't want to wake up late because of that man.

*Beep Beep*

"Urgh!" Samantha screamed as she threw back the covers on her queen size bed. She'd been up all night tossing and turning, AGAIN. She sworn getting this man out of her head and system was harder than getting into Yale. And that's saying something.

When she reached the bathroom connected to her bedroom an looked in the mirror. She couldn't believe how big the bags were under eyes. It was going to take lots of make up just to cover it up. Angry she let the insufferable man mess with her like that, she decided the next time she'd see Matthew she would pretend like the kiss never happen.

Take that Bowden.

She turned on he shower and started to get ready for her day. It didn't take her that long to get ready. Once she was out the shower she put on some dark blue Levi's skinny jeans, a black simple tee, and my Helmut Lang 'Petal' Tan Leather Jacket I got on a really great sale. She paired it with her cute tan TOMS and she's off to the kitchen to grab some breakfast before class.

Swiping a apple and a granola bar out her snack bowl, keys and cell phone she was off. She kept art her school materials in her truck because she loses everything but her phone.

*********

"Oh I'm so happy that class is over!" Sam said happily to her classmate Megan.

"I swear I thought you were gonna fall asleep at any moment." Megan said chuckling at Sam's enthusiasm.

"Hey if you want to hangout later and have a movie night you should totally come over." She offered her friend. She was in the mood for a carefree night with a girlfriend.

"Oh I'd love to! I need a stress free night. I'll bring the wine? Red or white?" Megan asked, checking her watch seeing that it was two forty five , "Five sounds good?"

"Yes that's perfect. Alright I'm gonna head home take a shower and get the stuff ready." Sam said as she head towards the parking lot to get to her truck.

As she got into her blue 2013 Ford Escape, this was the only thing she splurged on when she started working at the club. She got it for a good deal and it was her pride and joy. She started her truck and was off to her cozy little apartment.

It didn't take her long to get to her house, and she was taking the stairs in no time. Most of the residents thought she was crazy to walk when they're elevators worked just fine. But she liked the extra exercise, aside from dancing. When she finally made it to her floor she noticed done flowers sitting on her doormat. She prayed they weren't from who she thought they were.

As she went to pick them up she found two sets of flowers, one from her no good ex and the other from Mr. Bowden. She decided to go in her apartment before she read the cards. Opening her door she dropped her keys in her key bowl and put the flowers on her dining room table. She decided she was gonna take a shower first and get started on dinner for Megan and herself.

*Twenty Minutes Later*

Samantha had her iHome in the kitchen blasting out her music as she cooked and swayed her hips. She picked oven roasted chicken with roasted red potatoes tossed in garlic with a little salt and pepper and a light salad to pair with it. The chicken were in the oven and she just finished tossing the salad.

Looking at the clock she saw it was 4:50, Megan should be here any minute so she got her movie collection out and ready and before long she heard her doorbell ring.

Excite for tonight she ran to the door, yanking it open with a little too much force, so reveal not only Megan but none other than Matthew Bowden.

"Hey girl I was about to ask you who this handsome devil is and why you've been keeping him all to yourself?" Megan said smirking between Bowden and I.

"What are you doing here?" She said probably a little too harshly.

"Didn't you get my flowers? I wanted to take you to dinner but from the look of things you already have plan. I can just g-" Bowden started to suggest he leave but Megan interrupted him immediately.

"Nonsense! I'm sure Samny here cooked enough for all of us and I brought plenty of wine." Megan said as she lead the way into the apartment.

Samantha stood there with her mouth opened trying to comprehend what was going on but she knew tonight could go incredibly wrong or annoying smooth. Even though she hated Bowden she prayed for the latter.
