Chapter 1.

I was on my way driving back home when I saw him.
Standing there, alone.
Covered with blood, it was horrible.
I stepped out of the car when I realized he wasn't hit by a car. The blood was not his. It was of the man laying behind him.
I yelled and ran away as fast as I could, back to my car when suddenly he stood in front of me. Not even 2 inches away.

I looked up and saw that there were fangs sticking out of his mouth.
They disappeared, while I was still screaming.
The mysterious and definitely scary man stayed calm and looked me in my eyes while saying that I should relax and be quiet.
I yelled ' You are crazy! '.
And tried to escape this nightmare.

He wasn't this calm anymore and grabbed me by my left wrist and looked me back in the eyes with his dark chocolate eyes. Saying 'Forget all of this and go home.'
I kicked him in his balls thinking that would cause him pain but he just stood there and disappeared.

I ran back to my car and drove as fast as I could possibly drive without getting in an accident.

I opened the door of my house. When I saw that my left wrist was covered in blood. I quickly ran to my bathroom checking to see if I was still alive.

I couldn't believe it. I showered and got changed.
I layed in bed thinking this couldn't be true. I saw someone being so fast, covered with blood and big ass fangs on a highway in Virginia.

The next morning

I woke up with a headache so I called my boss saying that I couldn't go to work.

I stepped in my car and drove to the pharmacy, I really needed some pills for my headache. I quickly buyed them and walked to the park that was just half a mile away from there.

It was already 2 PM and I walked back to my car when I saw The Man.
He wore a suit again but it wasn't the same as yesterday.
I started running to my car when he stood in front of me. I was already tired and yelled 'what do you want from me!'
He politely answered 'You.'

That's when it happened, he layed his arm around my hip and ran so fast I couldn't believe my eyes. It felt like I was being teleported.
We stood in front of a big castle.
He opened the gate. I tried to run but he wouldn't let me go.

He said that he wasn't going to hurt me but I could not trust this BITCH.

I yelled to him' WHY WAS THERE BLOOD ON YOUR SUIT? ARE YOU A MURDERER?? '

I could not handle the stress right now, it felt like I was being kidnapped.

He grabbed me tighter around my arm and pushed me in his house.
He said he tried to do it politely but that this would not work.

Suddenly everything went dark.

I woke up on a couch in the middle of a living room.
I tried to remember where I was when I heard two people having a conversation.

'Seriously Niklaus, she looks just like her.' the mystery man said.
'I know but we can't let her find out.' the other man said.

When I heard that, it felt like I was going to throw up. I stood up, wanted to sneek out of this place but I just had no idea where I was nor where the exit is so I sneeked to the door when I felt a hand resting on my shoulder.

I yelled and quickly looked around me. It was the mystery man.
I knew I couldn't escape so I tried to play it cool and asked ' Who the hell are you? '

We sat down in two chairs and he asked me if I wanted a drink.
I could use it so I said yes. He gave me bourbon.
I said 'Answer the damn question, Sir.'
That's when my life changed.

'Elijah.'

We talked and I asked him some questions that he didn't fully answered. He said I got knocked out by his brother Klaus. He was a noble man but how could he feed on another human? He told me the whole vampire story and that he was an original.
