Next day:

'Where is she?' Damon asked.
Elijah shook his head no.
'What do you mean, idiot!' Damon pushed Elijah hard against his chest.
Elijah didn't do anything. All he did was stare at the ground.
Damon's eyes turned dark and mumbled: 'She can't...'

Elijah handed something over to Damon and quickely vampspeeded away.

Damon looked in his right hand. It was an audio recorder. An old one.
His pupils grew and he vampspeeded outside of the hospital. He couldn't stand the smell of death that haunted that hospital.

He looked up at the sky and screamed. He stopped and felt a rage of anger overwhelming him.
He holded that audiorecorder so tight it could've been broken.
But it didn't.
He walked to the park where Delilah and him sat when she first killed someone, Camille.

That was the moment he knew, she'd never hurt him in any kind of way. He'd stick with her until death ripped them apart. She was the person that made him smile when no one could. Their laughings where the things he'd look forward to.
Unfortunately it didn't last as long as he wanted.

He sighed and sat on the little bank when he started playing the audiorecorder.

Play.

"Hey Damon. If you're hearing this, that means I probably passed away. I uhh... don't really know what to say besides that you are my best friend. I've never really had that connection with anyone in my life. I like you. I like your laugh, your way of... doing things and being with you."

Damon pressed pause. He looked up at the sky. At me. And sniffed when a tear rolled down his cheeks.

Play.

" Damon, don't give up at being you. There are people that like an asshole like you. *laughing* No I'm for real. Don't live up to anyone expectations. Cause then you'll never be able to love yourself.
Oh and please. Don't drink when hearing that I died. I don't like that. "

Pause.

'You're making this really hard for me. Even when you died, you still found a way to annoy me." he said sarcasticly as he looked up into the sky.'
'I won't grief your dead by drinking. I promise.' He whispered the last sentence.

Play.

"isn't it a little unfair right now... You will win every single doorbell race. *sigh* But I won't surrender. *giggle*.
'I guess this is all I can say. Don't forget that you're loved, Damon..."

Recording finished. Play again?
