I also want to address some things that I imagined in my head about the story.

First of all, Damon adopted a dog that's called after Delilah. Her name is Lilah.
Damon played his little doorbell races with her. + the dog mostly wins them :).
Second of all, Elijah did got killed by Klaus. Like the real ending of
' The Originals '.
Last but not least, Klaus forgived Delilah after everything she has done.
