ten- Bonus chapter II

It's been over an hour already since Julie left and he was beginning to get worried. Martin's wasn't too far from school, she should have been back long ago.

He dialed her number for like the 15th time and as usual, it went straight to voice mail.

What was he thinking allowing her to go with that asshole. What if he actually did something to her.

Just as he was about to dial her number for the 16th time, a notification popped at the top of his screen drawing his attention.

i.am.ericaaa posted a new video.

That was Julie's sister's username. He doesn't remember subscribing to her channel but he knew she probably did it herself the last time she took his phone to watch all her videos and like them.

Weird but cute.

He tapped unto the notification which took him straight to her video.

The first clip that showed was of her sitting on her bed, her eyes were puffed out like she had been crying all day.

"Hi guys, welcome back to my Youtube Channel. If you're wondering why I look like a mess, well don't. it's just stress and my eyes... probably because I ate late last night"

Derrick knew when Erica was lying, and she certainly was.

And if you have been on my channel for a long time, you would know my stress goes with EATING so today we are doing a mukbang." She got walked out a door and made her way to the kitchen.

"Oh this is hard. I'm filming myself today because Julie's is busy. And by busy, I mean, slammed the door in my face but it's fine" She chuckled setting the camera down on their kitchen counter.

Derrick loved Erica like she was his own sister. Over the years since they transferred from St Pauls, they've become pretty close. Erica was easy going, funny and very straight forward, hence the reason why she has so many subscribers to her Channel but he personally didn't find any interest in what she was talking about at the moment so he took out the ear plugs and was just about to leave when one of the questions caught his attention.

"anyway, we've got.... Ramen, eggs, vegies ooooh sausages and more eggs."

And then there was a montage of her preparing the meal.

"And our food is ready"

To be honest, it did look appetizing so Derrick kept watching. He was on a break anyway.

"And let's peel our--"

"IT IS NOT YOUR RESPONSIBILITY!!" Her Mum yelled in the background.

"I'M NOT SAYING IT'S MY RESPONSIBILITY!" Julie's voice followed.

"THEN DON'T DO IT! GOD! JULIE, DO YOU WANT TO KILL ME?!"

"Mum you are really being overly dramatic"

"I AM BEING OVERLY DRAMATIC? I am being overly dramatic?"

Derrick noticed Erica looked like she was going to burst into tears as she watched them. But she didn't. Instead she let out a sigh and said,

"I'm gonna have to edit that out"

Derrick could tell something was wrong because typical Erica wouldn't react to them fighting in her video like that. She would have yelled at them to shut up. And she even forgot to edit that part out.

And then it dawned on him to call her instead.

She answered on the second ring.

"Hi Derrick" Her voice sounded raspy
